Current Vmax model no longer available in Singapore.... So used maxxes is your only option for now unless you wanna get the New upcoming Vmax but it's a different bike altogether.....

Any idea when will the new model be coming?

Thanks

It'll come out when the performance is good enough to beat the ZX14 and the new Busa.

even Hong Leong is clueless about the bike. :cheeky:

As Vmaxxes are very rare now, there is not really a market price for it. Depends very much on the condition. But i guess the main factor is how badly the buyer wants a Vmax. Vmax luvers are also a rare few but a crazy lot.. Guess a good condition FW Vmax should fetch around 14K? Good luck in your search for one...

Vmax is one of those bikes that u seldom find in the shops.Usually changed hands in private sales.but surely there must be certain shops that have some sitting in their lawn..can give some leads?

Don't think so...... only Later European or Japanese Domestic model has the Vboost removed. So far I haven't come across a power cut model in S'pore.

Yes, Japan domestic model with power-cut, which has 'only' 97HP is start from 1990 model.

Dont think that it is a power restriction for riding motorbike there. Many Vmax custom shop there like Esper.

First thing they do, ofcourse replace caburator with the cab + v-boost one.

But, seems that they prefer to have the imported US model Vmax ...

The turbo looks good huh? Without turbo the Max is already struggling with the handling I wonder how it would feel with the turbo power....... Guess have to change the gear ratio too as you will be hitting the redline before you know it.... And the modification to the engine parts to accomodate the increased power.. Dun mind investing some $$ to get it done if able to do it here locally...... Anyone knows of any turbo experts or workshops????

The new chassis, featuring a cast-aluminum frame and aluminum swingarm, seems to offer up a longer wheelbase. We're estimating as long as 65 inches, which would help it perform at the dragstrip, where Editor Kevin Duke expects 9-second quarter-mile passes if and when it's produced.

Style-wise the Max has some potential, with the new bike hitting a real sweet spot with Duke Danger who commented: "The view from the front is awesome, looking like some kind of futuristic crime-fighting weapon."
