hey guys.

the paint coat of my bike's plastics have cracked. is there any shop that does respraypainting of plastics and how much would it usually cost? i don't have the time to do it on my own.

plastics not advisable to spray.. very prone to crack.. even if u dun drop ur bike.. it`ll still crack one fine day.. best is to use sticker to wrap da whole plastic piece..

i suggest you DIY , not worth to send for respray. Check out the internet on spraying. Lots of patience and of course lots of help from the Sun will do a Great job on you paint job. Plus WR200 plastics are pretty easy to remove.

 

Time is all about management man.

use paint remover to remove.. den u may wanna sand dwn ur plastix to gif it a smoother surface.. try lookin for M_X at slackriders.com.. he does sticker wrapping.. wud love to help u.. but i myself no time.. took me close to 3 wkz to complete my drz.. hahaha.. but M_X will juz need 24 hrs.. i dun haf dat much time to spare.. =)

ok then. any shops that do sticker wrapping? will they sand down my plastics first? the paint coat is cracked and pretty uneven?

 

Try auntie shop lo. might be abit costly. But it'll eliminate all the uneven surfaces for sure. Or you could buy & diy the sticker wrapping. :angel:

auntie charges arnd 30+ per plastic if i`m not wrong.. M_X did my whole plastics at 70+.. after knowin how to diy.. cost me less den 30 fer my whole bike.. =)

so you mean the whole bike, reguardless hw rough the plastic is , he also can wrap my whole bike ?

- Vespa PX150 2007 oct 11th - current

- WR200 2007 oct 17th - dec 17th

he no longer does the sticker job alr.. you can try searching in the slackrider forum..
