Hi Guys,

Anybody know where to buy a bike which can pay with credit card?

Maybe can pay with 0% installment like we buy laptop in Harvey Norman.

I am just wondering only:)

Gotta remember, credit card issuers charge retailers with a processing fee of about 2%. I'm pretty sure if shops accept credit cards, the extra cost will be rolled on to the customer.

So you're 'interest free' installment isnt exactly 'interest free'.

When I paid a downpayment of $5K for my R1 using my VISA credit card, HKL charged me 5% service charge for it. I had to top up another $250... :sian:

actually not really...2% is 1 time fee. then subsequently divide the total into 3 or 4 yr installment-interest free. sounds better than bike shop's 4-6% per annum interest. :thumb:

1st of all, credit card issuers charge retailers with a processing fee of 3%. Usually Motorshop dun take credit card. only a couple of them. HKL and MotoWorld do. Maybe can check with BoonSiew or Mah? MotoWorld has this installment plan with UOB. However, they dun sell bike.

If you're using UOB, you can pay by installment if the amount is more than $500. but you have to pay processing fee of 3% (3 or 6 month installment) or 5% (12 month)

Other Credit card, not sure.

hi there, I've found this link that offers 0% interest-free instalments. You can now use your DBS credit card to pay for the purchase of the bike (subject to own credit limits) as long as its over $500 worth. Very good deal!!

But then again, you have to consider like the selling price, free gifts etc offered by them, maybe other non-interest free bike shop may offer more benefits.
