My friend bought a bike from a shop. They asked for his IC and retain it for the said purpose of applying for insurance. Is this the proper procedure? Are they and do they have the right to hold on to our id card? :cry:

No worries. That is the standard procedure when you are buying a bike. The NRIC will be returned to the buyer a few days later when all the paperwork are done... :)

dun let them retain, you dun get yr bike..

 

as long as they got give you 1 slip saying that they got yr IC, you are safe.

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....
