MOTO1 SM series – SUPERMOTO Round 3 FINAL for 2007

[28th October 2007]

IT IS GONNA BE THE BIGGEST EVENT FOR SUPERMOTO 2007 !!

 

Venue: Nusajaya Track, Malaysia (10 mins from 2nd link)

Date: Sunday, October 28th

Time: 8.00am

Meeting place: Gelang Patah Esso Petrol Station

Please arrive early to top up petrol.

We will move off at 8.15am

Event Host : Robin

 

This event will be open to both Motorcycle Safety and Sports Club (MSSC) members and non-members.

 

Full track gear/protection is COMPULSORY.

1. Race leather is a must during the race event. (No MX gear)

2. Full face helmet (MX or road)

3. Full gloves (MX or road)

4. Boots (MX or road)

 

FACILITIES

 

Safety – Ambulance and 2 medical personal on standby.

Will send straight from NusaJaya back to NUH in Singapore. (S$180 per trip)

Fire extinguishers on the track itself and 1 in the sheltered holding area

 

Employed Malaysian marshals standing around the track for flags and help

 

Maintenance – 2 mechanics on standby for some simple jobs.

(Please pay them a token of appreciation if you ask them to do some work for you.

 

They are not paid and they have used their free day to help us out.

Please DO NOT ask them to fix punctured tires,

its hard work and they don’t have the appropriate tools)

 

Bike towing is on stand by. Will send straight to Singapore.

To the workshop of your choice (S$80 per trip exclude passenger)

 

Toilet – Free to use for all. With clean running water and area for changing with separate cubicles

 

Food & Drinks Stall – Fried Bee Hoon, chicken wings, coconut drink and 100 Plus

(please give them some business because the Auntie are not paid.

They only made money from the food sold)

 

It is HIGHLY recommended that you bring with you a portable stool / chair.

Format

Format for Clubman: 10 laps

2 Separate Groups:

 

• OPEN class

• LITE Class

 

 

 

Each may only join 1 class. No double entries

Format for Clubman: 10-12 laps

1st Leg Positions determined by drawing lots

2 Separate Groups: OPEN Class, LITE Class

Prizes: Medals Awarded to top 5 finishes for all 3 CLASSES

 

Prizes: Awarded to top 5 finishes for ALL CLASS

Winners of Round 1 and Round 2 will receive prize

during morning briefing on 28th October 2007

 

 

Clubman TIME-TABLE:

 

Please get your bike scrutinize before 9.30 am

There will be a short SAFETY briefing before activities start

 

09.00am – 09.30am Bike Preparations

09.30am – 10.00am Sign-in, Scrutinize Bike

10.00am – 10.10am Short Briefing

10.10am – 11.00am Practice session

11.00am – 03.00pm Main event
