For your speedo. Cos it's a 2B bike. The speedo isn't as accurate as compared to a 2B, class 2, a car or a GPS. If you're doing 100-120 you'll prob be doing only about 80-100km/h. On my class 2 bike. When I'm doing 160km/h, the GPS reads as 150km/h. So don't worry, it's not you, it's inaccurate readings of instruments :)

Nowander it felt slow eventhough it shows 130 or so... hmm..

Btw, isit possible for Daystar to have electronic speedometer??

Sounds cool but possible??

Digital speedometer I assume you are enquiring? Yes. It is possible by re-wiring up to another aftermarket digital speedometer.

Yes. It is possible but is it necessary? You will chunk up unnecessary cost if you intend to upgrade your motorcycle later because it is not simply just adding the sixth gear but the whole set of existing gears.

That's professionally done but if you want to spray it on your own you can, but it's a more rugged look than the shiny look lah....But it's all up to you own liking...Some riders like to have the matt look, some like the glossy look...If you are more into the clean glossy professional showroom look, it's wise to get it done professionally...But if you are more into the rugged look, you can just buy can sprays and spray it with the matt look...Good luck in your decisions bro...Cheers...

respraying the whole bike cost $400 at cka... any other better options nights?

There is an affordable spray painting shop in Kallang Industrial along the same lane as with Future Scootering, Tai Hin and Lim Ah Boy workshop. You may want to get a quotation from them.

Good luck!

Yo, thanks for the interest.

Just slap your name in first if you're keen to join up.

Further details like time and place will be updated to participants via SMS. Tentatively, we're meeting at Kallang's Big Splash before we roar off.

In case you don't understand what's going to happen, like i mentioned in that thread: The main thing is to convoy out to lead the wedding vehicle from one place to another.

Apart from that, meet new and old friends, admire other people's amazing bikes, explore wedding cultures, eat free food, take pics, be in pics, have fun, see nice daughters of makciks, increase your passion for riding, etc.

Let's go!

I have the best signature.

Hi to all daystar seniors, I just bought a 2nd hand daystar and been riding it for about 1 month. question is when i open the throttle to about 7k rpm, there's a rattling metal sound coming from the front of the bike, checked with the mechanic from CKA and they say it's ok. Any of u experience this?? The mechanic say it's ok to go until 8k rpm, is it true??? I scared the engine will damage. Please advise.

Ya, that's what the mechanic say also, but he can't figure out what is loose. funny..

anyway so is it ok to rev till 8k rpm on normal riding?? coz i normally ride at 6.5k and after that i feel like the engine like very hot. I know I might be a bit kayu type. hehe..

ha ha ha i have own it for about 4year for my rpm after first gear i can go till 11rpm no worries :)
