Pre-tracksession Meetup

Ok guys, let's start suggesting pre-tracksession meetup dates.

This is a good time to get to know each other better, sip some teh-tarik and discuss basic Johor Circuit (PG) essentials, all before we head to the track proper. Do treat this event as an informal Q and A session too if you're unsure about something.

Topics to be discussed:

1. Suitable track session date (fyi: it's still pending)

2. Preparation: recommended bike checks, things to bring

3. Going there: route, petrol stops

4. Being there: where to park, hourly slots, track fees

5. On-the-track: Very basic glimpse of the 12 turns, entrance/exit to pits, proper ethics (in light of the major accident that happened at PG)

6. Q and A session.

This discussion is an "open" one.

Based on the list above, you are encouraged to contribute your knowledge on that day, should you feel there's something that's important for us to know.

=====================

These are free dates and locations that I can think about. For each category, kindly vote for one only:

19th sat,

20th sun,

21st mon night after work, or

22nd tue night after work

AND yes Sleep time varies for every single individual. so you gotta figure it out. its from the moment you sleep to the very moment you get up without any disturbances. averagely its about 8~10 hours. after figuring it out. you can set alarms more accurately.

i read a article about sleep.

Most of us here, if not all, are newbies (hence slow-bies) too.

You know what? All more than welcome to join, and to show that roaring ride of yours!

You are encouraged to join our Pre-tracksession Meetup as well.

See post right below this one.

As for the date, Redbeacon and Sabbaha are still putting this as tentative.

Ultimately, all of us will have to depend on (#1) the rider's list and (#2) any upcoming track meetup that has been suggested by Lan aka PuteraBrothers.

In short, we'll have to (#1) + (#2) = final decision on date.

And (#3), hope it doesn't rain at that date as well! Been raining in the afternoon for a consecutive number of days liao. Dammit!

This thread is an excellent way to keep anyone informed.

If for some reason anyone can't keep in touch with us via this SGBikes thread, you may want to get sabbaha or Redbeacon to notify you when the date gets finalised.

Any more votes for the Pre-tracksession meetup?

Gotta tell you guys: looking at the S4 Track session rider's list, there might be a problem. Some can go on the 25th, some have commitments that require them to dodge workdays. For me, if my bike doesn't get fixed by then, I might have to push it forward to February as well.

Nevertheless, I would like to see all of you guys for the pre-tracksession meetup. Sabb and Zhe Hong, would like both of you to accompany me and to be of assistances...3 brains better than one during the planning phase yea?

Oh, and for the rest of y'all, if you want to contact me, here's my number:

Bukit Timah Road, across Beauty World shopping centre and after Jalan Besar road

Locality: Western SG

Date & Time:

19th January

Saturday at 2200hrs.

This is a good time to get to know each other better, sip some teh-tarik and discuss basic Johor Circuit (PG) essentials, all before we head to the track proper. Do treat this event as an informal Q and A session too if you're unsure about something.

Highlights of this meeting:

Nevertheless, I would like to see all of you guys for the pre-tracksession meetup. Got a lot to discuss and plan, to get to know each other's "no-go" dates and to form a consensus -- get a date/time that everybody is comfortable with.

This discussion is an "open" one.
