Hmm,

I just scraped my old bike and going to get the COE rebate, anyone know what is that? Is it in cash or just paper value?

And if paper value what good is it?

If you had scrapped your bike before end of COE, there should be a cash rebate. If its end of COE, then you will get a cert. that entitles you to purchase a COE at the prevailing price.

Biposto,

My issue clear alr actually the sound is only spocket spoiled. I also get my bike to service together. I changed:

Spocket and chain

EO

Plug

Battery

Front and rear brake pad

Air filter

Total cost around $220

I am also glad you intro me that place as the service there really good better than all the bike shop I had been to. Appreciated alot. Just that 1st time go there the place very hard to find. Will go there to do service. Nice.

Glad you were happy with the service. Which outlet did you go Toh guan or Kaki Bukit? Looks like you did most of the general wear and tear component changes are done. Now, you just have to concentrate on changing your EO regularly at 1000 to 1200 km. to ensure that other components of the bike remains healthy. By the way, what your current mileage like?

Biposto,

ask you something good spark plug and bad plug got any difference in bike performance.

For general riding from point A to B, the regular plug is good enough. However, if you are those who like a little more stronger riding and pickup, the iridium version of the plug will be better for pickup, however, the side effect is, FC will drop slightly, maybe about 10 to 20 km. Happy riding.

Bip,

I went to the kaki bukit branch, next month I might go to his neighbour to wash bike as me abit lazy to wash myself. As I saw at singapore bikes say that there have foam wash for bike. My milleage until now around 42000 and for a 3 years bike I think its ok.

That time before I bought this bike I say 2 advertisment saying that their cbf rode less then 9000 km for a 3 yrs bike, that one I think is weird. How can anyone rode his bike for less then 10 km a day?

Hi, I'm new to this forum, glad to see there's a thread on this. :p I'm being riding CBF 150 for almost 3 yrs, few mths back noticed that whenever I use engine brake by close the throttle and reopen it again, I have a lag time of about 1 sec before power is back. That sec feels like engine died off. I've tried changing EO, plugs, and even service carburetor twice but none of them works.

Anyone of you had this problem? Can pls advise?

nope, never. My technician ever mentioned that maybe fuel tank enter water, but after flashing still the same.... He also dunno wat's going on....

There is a breather hose under the tank, if that is bend or block you will have similar symptoms
