just did a DIY air filter change

the part number of the air filter is attached (buy from lab, just ask for CBF150 air filter)

comparison of the 1 year old air filter in my CBF150

air filter cost $4.00

time taken 15min

So cheap? you used to pay abt $12 for one at the local shops, all you guys out there should change your air filters it affect your FC riding with a dirty air filter

:dot:TRUST is good,CONTROL is better,

ever heard of MECHANICAL FAILURE?:help:

pass by LAB and was quote $8 for the air filter.

KNN... i expected LAB prices to fluctuate but the pricing is ridiculous.

to all bro out there, pls note the pricing of the air filter if u buying from LAB. workshop pricing to change the filter will be about $12-$15, best to DIY and safe at least 50%

Bro, LAB also have their own workshop, located slightly away from their retail shop. They will do the change for nominal charge.

all bro who wants to buy the air filter pls remember to bargain. the last time i buy is only $4 dollars. next diy project likely to be the battery.

Hi guys. What's the difference between the stock airfilter and the open pod ones (BMC, K&N)? Any noticeable difference in power, top speed, consumption, etc? If consumption stays the same but with extra torque, I might consider changing to one. Thanks.

changing to open port wont give u much extra torque. extra torque = change exhaust, CDI, carb, sparkplug cable + tunning

there is a limit to how much a 150cc engine can give.

yeah, change plug and air filter every 5000km and engine oil every 2 months or 15000 to 2000km will be gd enough.

if you are riding with box, install additional box brake light or LED brake lite if your box does not comes with stop light for additional safety.

take gd care of your battery as our bike no kick start....

finally will be the most impt items, your brakes and tyres

Hi Guys,

Tomorrow I'll be heading down to Bike Production to sign d papers for a new CBF150. They are selling me at $4600 + box + 1 engine oil all in without IU & insurance only... Is that a good deal?....They also have a 2nd hand one FBD plate going for $3200....HMM still contemplating which one to buy?...

Actually I've just sold my RXZ cos COE expiring and need a transport bike only. But I don't ride dat frequeant, not even to work... I only ride if I wake up late (very rare), going play soccer (twice a week) or need to run some errands...

So wat u guys think?... Anyway what should i look out for wen i go to d shop tomorrow before signing d deal?....Can i ask for discount or free stuff?...Long time nvr buy bike sooo rusty.

Hope to ur your expert opinions....Thanks.

buy new one, ask for FOC raincoat, helmet etc. price wise ok.

recommended to change the stock tyres as they are very slippery.
