thot i came acros a Honda Tiger 200cc bike. these wld b gd competition to d CBFs and FZs. RXZs are classic! till this day i hv seen an FE plater still on the road!

 

Seen the Honda Tiger picture. Not nice leh? Looks dept ugly only. FZ150i looks is better although the cc is smaller.

I use AGIP engine oil. My 2nd oil change. The first one i use was stock engine oil from yamaha.

I got the same problem as you too. Got the bike for 2 weeks only. The only remedy i can give is to start the bike and open throttle slowly for abt 30 seconds. then leave it idling for a minute before moving off. I ask the shop about this problem and they told me that this bike need some time to warm up. i will ask boon siew mechanics when i pay them a visit next week.

 

i am using shell mineral oil. shell petrol stations are selling them. my mileage just reach 1k. Guys when do you start using synthetic oil after running in? Which mileage is advisable?

I think ladder4949, has sold his bike, saw the bike on the road if not mistaken another rider, can't mistaken it with the mosquito net crash bar.

haha bro yeah i do know a shop that i know in JB that can do this but have to check whether the mechanic and the shop still exist...been there doing all the illegal things to my previos bikes...its been two years i have never visit the shop....the mech can be trust but for our bike i dunno whether he cam mod the engine coz our bike cant be found in malaysia rite?...but i hope that the engine system is similar to other bikes...After i recce the shop and ask for quiries i will get back to u bros...Lets make the our CBF more happening but only at nite coz LTAs work only 8 - 5pm....hahah!

went to Sengkwang yesterday, and asked abt d crashbar and installing givi wingrack.

The cost almost made my bike fall off. ahaha!

Usually after the 3rd oil change. Means after finish running in the bike.

 

1st original oil - stock from manufacturer.

2nd mineral oil change

3rd mineral oil change

 

4th can use semi or fully synthetic 4T.

Up to individual preference.

 

This applies only to NEW 1st hand bikes.
