it does drop my temp for my gixxer last time by 3-4 degrees. haven try it yet on r6 but u will confirm wan to change ur stock coolant as it suck.

gt 3 question, hope someone could help.

 

1. What is the highest temp can R6 go/ the highest temp u guys seen before on your bike?

 

2. when I stop my engine when i reach home, i heard fan sound. Is there fan install?

 

3. for R6, 3L of oil enough right?

Eh.. You never read up about the bike before buying one ah? 112 degree was the hottest I hit in the past. And the fan, is to cool dowm your bike lah.. 2B bikes ain't as hot as class2. Irregardless of what coolant you use, it's still a class2 bike, heat is inevitable.

Hello! I'm also considered quite new (riding for 7 months) highest I've seen is about 108c. You should be fine till the display reads HI, usually if you ride you should never see HI. But if your fan is running but the temp continue to rise, something's not right.

I'm not sure if this depends on the model but my fan cut on at 101c after that the temp will drop.

 

3L of oil is too much. Manual states 2.4 w/o oilfilter and 2.6L if change filter.

 

Try to take roads without much traffic lights, thats what I do to avoid the ridiculous heat.

Going for inspection soon, but my rear fender and LED signal lights cannot pass inspection (according to bike shop). Must i really buy a original set to go for inspection?Pls advise. TIA

excessive eo will spoilt t engine. u can use dipstick to check t oil level.

.borrow from someone or ask t bike shop to help u out but it will come with a fee.

if u dun hv then its gd to buy n keep it. u need to use it every yr. its always gd to keep ur OEM stuff. nowadays inspection r so strict

Might be looking for less than a year old r6. Race fairings, rcs19, monobloc calipers, aftermarket rearsets and slipper clutch would be a plus. Otherwise full stock will be fine. May trade my Ducati streetfighter too.
