Just checking where to purchase tail tidy using the original signal indicator. Any brand to recommend?

DIY bracket at most motor shop can solve it.

A lot of brands of tail tidy. R&G, Evotech, Puig etc

Also said I suspect the bike key was stolen, and i remake and reprogram a new pair with the red key, will the old stolen key still be usable? or the bike ignition would be reprogramed to only allow the new pair to run the bike?

OEM cam chain tensioner is good enough. manual is more for track use n will hv minor oil leak from e screws. most common manual tensioner r APE but if u wan a better one u can go for GRAVES.

Normally 4 stroke bikes last quite long. What's your mileage. My 05 r6 has 124000km still going strong. Just done valve clearance, cam chain guides and tensioner @ 110000km.

cam chain guides and tensioner, were there signs that shows u must do? or u just decided to do after certain milage? how much did they cost u?

Signs of tensioner about to fail is the excessive noise coming from the right side of the bike at the oil pickup cover. The best is when you are doing valve clearance ask the mechanics to check the condition of the guides as well. Another way is to remove the tensioner then try to use force to push the pin in. If it compresses then your tensioner need to replace. I don't recommend you to do it yourself because you'll have to wind it back up before installing and the potential of screwing the bike is high.

Manage to dig out the receipt(mind you this was about 1year plus ago):

valve clearance $280

Timing chain $ 65

Tensioner guide $125

Auto cam chain tensioner: $128

Cam Cover gasket: $48

Havent include labour and general servicing and "Abang! This part have to change. Later you ride that time very dangerous" moment.

Cam chain tensioner.jpg

Just in case you are wondering what is actually on the otherside of the tensioner, i've attached a photo of the auto cam chain tensioner from my bike. The one circled in yellow is the part where the mechanism is which only allows it to only push on the timing chain. Basically, you cant service it once the ratcheting system in there is gone(which it will definitely do), its gone. So to me its sensible to replace it together with valve clearance to have a piece of mind.

Manual tensioner is just a bolt with a locking nut at the end. Bought for $60 shipped off ebay.

my r6 have a temperature of about 113 to 112, after i flushed my coolant and changed it to engine ice. is it fine? hmm.. further idling test confirm it wont go past 113 and will only hit between 112 and 113.

The coolant might the the issue too. But I've never tried engine ice so can't comment on how it performs. On old bikes the thermostat might not open fully due to age which lowers the cooling performance of the engine. Few months back my bike was hitting 105 deg c. Replaced the thermostat now warms up faster and cools down faster too. Never hit 103 deg c. Try check if they bleed out the cooling system properly (that should be the thing to check first) some times they rush the job so just top up the radiator to brim then close the cap. Never do coolant bleeding.

bro, but i believe 112-113 degree Celsius should still be in the tolerable range right? nvr see any warning lights
