The throttle position sensor (TPS) monitors throttle position and adjusts the ignition timing to ensure maximum muscle across the entire powerband of the bike. As for servicing, you can have it serviced at Hong Leong for $80 or seek help from our forumers here who know how to rectify the TPS problem. :goodluck:

Does only class 2 bike have TPS technology:confused:

2002 - 2003 Yahama Tzr 125 (FH1687Z)

2003 - 2005 Honda Sp 150 (FR9672K)

2005 - 2007 Honda Cbr FireBlade 400 (FN543E)

2007 - 2010 Suzuki Gsx-R K7 1000 (AU222D)

I think it only applies to FI bikes rite?

Other classes of bikes also have TPS and not only fuel injected bikes have TPS. Carburettor bikes too have TPS... :smile:
