can bike be tune wif out a PC? coz recently my friend change a slip on and someone told him tat his CBR 600 can be tune without a PC...and i was wondering....thanks a million for the reply....

yes, i remember it's holding the select and reset button for 10 sec before turning on the ignition switch.

 

below is a description on how ya go about setting the C1, C2, C3 and C4 air/fuel mixture ratio.

 

try it at your own risk. before you attempt anything, note down your factory settings first.

 

in my opinion, if you try to lean out C3 and C4, it's better to richen C2.

yo guys long time no talk **** here liao haha... this morning went ECP for a run then my beloved r6 spoil... can't start... luckily it was quite easy to do a push start for me (trained well b4 by my cbr400) haha then went HKL. When i reach there, the bike can start as normal again. But nvertheless i let the mech check and told him the situation and he say my battery spoil. He offered me 2 type of batteries.

Both are dry cell. Accorrding to him, one is the orginal battery tat come wit r6 and commonly used, YTZ10S which dun required the 1st pouring of the solution into the battery + can last much longer than the normal 1 and it cost $185.

Another type i 4get it model no. but it can also be fit into r6 but it abit taller in height and it cost $80 and of cos the 1st inital pouring of the solution into the battery is required (i hope u guys know wad i am saying).

To me it make no different since I always think tat any battery can last abt a yr or so only (provided recificer and magnetic coil no problem)so i took the $80 one. And of cos buget constraint haha....

 

Just a general info for those guys who happen or might happen to meet this situation at least u know about it and it for u to judge.

 

Saw ablue 06 r6 on the way out JB also. In full racesuit wit couple of frens, must be from gudang haha... nice bike... 4get the plate liao but if u read it, my fren who is riding the r1 07 say u did a good corner wit your pillon fiecre... haha I told him tat wad r6 always do...

Original R6 battery is the best. Aftermarket ones wont last as long. just my 2 cents.

i have been using my battery since 26 Jan 2006. it was installed with a Revtec, thou I dun feel any difference with it, and i do not know whether does it enhance the life of the battery, but i thot i jus share my experience. many times i have problem starting up my bike after leaving it for more than a week of non riding and have to resort to push starting. after it roars back to life and a couple mins of riding, it'll be back to normal again.

 

i kana like 2 months ago thought battery not charging then dun give a damn kp ride everyday to like it charge coz i dun ride now n then onli on sat e rest of e day park at driveway wit canvas on then aft a week didnt ride for a day think battery give way alreli went to bike shop check ho sei up lorry alreli have to change i change e org batt wow expenisve lo but meach say last longer

i think its better to change back to the original 1 YTZ10s.Previous i change to the $80 one wouldnt last.Then i went to HL they say if u dont use the original one ur rect n coil might spoilt.I change @ HL 265 for that YTZ10s.
