Hi bros, would like to get some advise here..

 

Bikeshop is offering me the following for '09 r6:

 

1) Trade in stock tyres for corsa3 @ $200..

 

2) LV full titanium system, cost added in to my monthly installment @ $46/mth for 5yrs.. so it's 2.7k++.. was quoted 2.3/2.4 for the FS..

 

Are these gd deals? I am planning to go PG, but dunno when, mostly would be riding to work n going out.. Basically they juz made me gian wif those offers, but would like to seek some advise.. haha.. thks..

 

If you want the full system..juz go for it!!

 

Its ur bike..if u dun have the speed to carry it around track, NVM..u still wanna look good on the road rite??

 

True that a bike with full system is more powerful..but by how much?? A stock R6 08 is 105hp..with LV FS and PC III its 113hp. An upgrade of 8hp..there is a thing call throttle control..where u can be gentle on the throttle to prevent sudden abrupt power.

 

BaCK to ur ques..the LV FS shop retail price is about there $2.3-$2.4K. If u take it on hire purchase..then of course its gonna be more expensive with the interest added. Keyword here is retail price..go figure.

 

Also note..ur full titanium quoted is not really full titanium..its juz the silencer, the header is stainless steel. A race spec full titanium LV Corsa can set u back a cool $3K to $4K..and its not street legal.

 

LV is very good choice for ur R6..it performs very well and the sound is marvelous!!!! Its either LV or Akra for the R6 street legal series..u will nvr go wrong.

 

And oh..the tires..dun waste ur money on changing to Corsa 3. The stock tires is comparable to Corsa 3. Its better to upgrade to a DOT race tires like Supercorsa, Power 1, Power Race, Racetec..etc..etc..

yeah hardracing.com do ship to s'pore but quite "leceh" coz they dun accept credit cards or paypal.wire transfers more expensive and cheques are quite late and sumtimes rejected.

Yup b4 i gt my LV i also was think to get akra full system..... but at last got a LV full carbon full system.... the sound is great e power is great also..... it also depend on budget, if u gt cash can buy akra full system if short of cash can get e lv full system. to me both are gd exhasut... jux my 2 cents here......
