i hvnt try it but heard fr frens dat its juz a lil'bit beta den previous ones.

wit dat kind of comparisons,i hv changed to dragon sc2.lower cost n obviously beta grip.

Isiz advisable to change new tyres even though the stock one is still so called "new".. thread is still deep. Is the stock tyre good enough?

u can get dragon sc2 for abt 380-395.but some shop/s selling 410.i got mine at planet motors.

bro the racetec interact is 420 i went to unique to check it out.. but too bad there's no stock... read abt the reviews den wanted to change cos my tyres needed a change but no stock.. unique told me shipment will be in abt 1-2 mths..

 

from wat i read and wat the shop told me it's a track tyre.. the review is comparing it to the diablo SC

 

dat shud b very affordable n gd price compared to sum shops selling much higher.yes it is a track tyre since d old racetec k2 was oso.

wat is 'tps'?

 

 

Mounted on the carburetor or F.I. throttle body, the throttle position sensor (TPS) provides throttle valve opening information to the ignition system. The TPS information is sent to the ECU and is used to adjust the ignition timing, and fuel injection duration for optimum engine performance at a selected throttle opening. A special twin TPS system is used with Yamaha’s exclusive YCC-T “fly by wire throttle” for fail safe operation.

hmm i juz jack my bike to oil my chain..

 

but from the rotating of the rear wheel, i feel some rough sound at a certain point.

during the rotation of the wheel, at a certain point when i hear the rough sound, the wheel is like abit not smooth in rotating compare to the norm rotating.

 

not sure the wheel should be damn smooth (as in not much friction), but for the thing i heard, its like only at that point, the friction/rotating is not constant.

 

is this suppose to be normal? hope i make myself clear, quite hard to describe. as this thing only happen only at that specific spot, sound come from disc brake side i suppose, or somewhere where the friction occur.

i am riding a r6-06, just 2 quick questions so hope to get some good advice ;p

 

1. i am wondering if anyone is selling any r6-06 mufflers or full exhaust systems? do not have to be road legal as well.. no preference on the brands etc.

 

2. where can i find the workshop manual for my bike model. cant seem to find it anywhere. will be glad if someone have cause i want to minor servicing myself

no problem, i think lets fix the tune up session to be after 2100hrs, So lesser traffic. by the way u wan to tune towards track riding or more for street riding? Mine is somewat in between. Bcos for a track setup it will be too rigid for our bumpy streets in singapore. then if tune strictly for street, it will be too soft for hard throttle and braking.

ya by right u need to increase rebound damping after increasing preload to get back the same rebound speed. Its very complicating. But for the stock rebound damping can forget it since it does not really work.
