hi, anyone went to First Motor to fix race fairing for R6? wondering how's their workmanship...they quote me the cheapest to fix.

 

or can recommend me any shop?

out of curiosity, is anyone here using the yoshi r55 full system? i know its not legal but performance wise and all how is it?

Hey guys gonna order for 08 onwards singl;e seater. The one with the cushion. Anyone interested??? $75 including shipping. Do let me know lastest by tmr if not I'll place orders alr..

Hi guys...anyone know whats the problem if my bike suddenly died when i put to first gear after i warmed up the bike and side stand all up already...and it will still start but will die if i close throttle..unless if i start the bike and open my throttle and move off immediately its ok...It happened quite a few times and usually if i never start my bike for 2 days or more.Initially i tot its the spark plug but changed recently also...isst the Water batt,rectifier or magnetic coil??.If so how much if change ah?Got recommendation where to change?..Thanks

Try re sync your slipper clutch.. if that doesnt work, its either TPS or Clutch housing..

TPS costs 150.

Whole clutch asssembly costs >650, clutch housing is 400(housing) + 150(Clutch plates)+90(clutch pressure plates)

i had the same problem last time. but i did all of this, then Swee lo!

You cover up your bike with bike covers after ridding? My 2006 model seemingly had the same problem like yours.

 

I realized that my case was that after the bike was heated after ridding and I cover straight once parked, this problem occurs. I stop covering the bike immediately and the problem disappears. Hope this info would help you.

Is a flat battery symptom. Zapping sound is likely to be from the relay which kept energised and de-energized due to inadequate voltage. Try asking some one to jump cables his bike battery (Must be a started bike) to your battery or push starting the bike.

 

Beware, flat battery symptom could also be due to damaged rectifier or magnetic coil.

 

Lastly, ridding on flat battery after push start or jump cable start prolong can also lead to damaging the rectifier and magnetic coil.

Thanks for the advice. I've called bikebulance and they told me tmr would come and help me restart the bike... I wonder what should I do? I hope they know what to do. Think I'll still have to change the bike battery.. Btw do anyone know whats the model for r6 2010 bike battery, as in what voltage or watt and how much izzit?

Standard is 12V confirm. But battery model I'm not sure. Good luck!!!
