den connect 12v straight to the main IU, take note of polarity. +ve and -ve terminal.

 

DO not connect the 12v to the 6v-12v converter unit.. u might burn it.

 

 

or u can use a 9v rectangle battery. it will work as well.

umm realistically can.bt there's d danger of the iu unit getting short circuited often. so u will need to go inspection n get a replacement every now n then... easier is dun use.. hehehe =) bt wat 2 do rite? nw ERP everywhere... if go LTA oso i dun think they will let u register 12v iu on ur bike.coz ur bike's meant to b 6v.. bt duno la eh... can try heheh

It seems the other day i did not connect the 2 indiviual wires(Black and white coded) separately.I wired them separately today and my I.U works!Now i just need a fuse.But the converter side,the 2 wires look so ugly.I just taped them together.But what is impt is that the I.U works.

I'll give Hamilton rd a try bro.but like that i just scared the shop will just jack up the labor charges.Estimated RXK block how much?What else do i need?I don't mind u do for me bro. Don't think its rocket science for u right?

sorry for fans of hamilton uncle.. i have repaired my rxk at his place. he used to be quite good.. but age is catching up.. now not really at his peak anymore..

 

no offence to his supporters.. but thats wat i feel..

 

normal servicing etc.. still okie.. anything else better go to jalan besar. the young malaysian guy is good..

 

But the best is DIY la.. rxk is a very simple bike.. so simple stuff can DIY..

 

I just checked the side car.. adding side car cost at least 1.6 k man !

u can actually remove the converter.. u just need a special triangle screwdriver.. den unscrew it and slide it out.. there u go ! a proper working 12v I .U.

The side car is not ex, i checked with the STA Inspector, it's the paperwork n certification by PEs are ex.

Bros,the oversized brakedisc mounting bracket is ready-made(i.e Racing boy brand) or the bracket must customise?Cos my ex-spark 135 was ready-made bracket.I asked my mechanic the other day,he said the mounting bracket for RXS must customise due to the diff mounts on the fork.As for hose,think he can get HEL for me.

no need damper dude.. waste money.. unless u wana buy those 4 big bikes.bt nt advisable.juz ask d mech check ur steering cone n bearings.abt d bracket tingy u muz go customize d bracket.those 4 sparkz cannot fit on s.. abt d block juz go scrapyard or go d hamilton uncle to find.. outside quite hard to find..
