Yes u can, 100 is the width, 90 is the ratio of height to width, 18 is K stock rim diameter , but why? it'll slow down ur acceleration n increase ur fuel consumption.

thanks txwsg for sharing info for handlebar and speedo! i went united to get a 'cafe racer' style, low handlebar and installed it at ah hee. i bought better constructed signal lights from hee; the ones i got from united broke on installation sia! damn jialat. might be going back tmr to show the united uncle.

 

anyway as of today, ah boy, united and chia heng all no more rounded speedo, rs100 seats. i'm probably gonna head down scrapyard and hunt for speedo soon.

So tony, i was rather displeased with the way you put things. Eg, NEEDLESS TO SAY! lol..

 

New is not always better. I was trying to illustrate that a smaller MC will generate more braking force than a larger as long as it has the capacity. This is a fact.

 

A product made 10 years ago will be the same as one made yesterday, if it's made in the same way! RXZ MC will be the same as RXK if the piston size is the same.

 

Correct me if i am wrong.

Bro, u can try the shop beside 'Auntie' shop there @ Lavender I think. I've seen a few rounded speedos there. The shop is near and opposite the DUCATI showroom. Aiz, where's that's place ah when we do to fix ur speedo cable?

Let me correct u. Ppl here do not need to know some 'chim' stuff from u, the basics is enuff. If anything fails, there are hundreds of motorshops we cld go to find help. We hardly knew u at all. U dun come for Meet ups n such and then come here to 'preach' abt people mistakes or things related like tat. U must know tat, ppl who do stuff here doesn't always go thru the book. As long as what we do works for the bikes, its good enuff. For heavens sake its only a RXK. N u r unhappy? Why bother. Do u think u help enuff? Do we owe u sumthing? Did u ever come to help those in need here physically? Word means nothing lah bradder..... Btw, its good tat u share 'good' infos n tips here. Carry on!

Dolphin, the white wall on vespas are either done by white-wall inserts or shinko tyres.

 

Shinko tyres are tyres that are already white-walled. However, many prefer the inserts as it can be taken out and also shinko tyres aren't really considered premium quality. (i think)
