nowady rxs,rxk got no more value leh.

see the diffrent with stock and the one i mod..

but oni can fetch $500:cry:

A rough guide to mod yr Lau-K in a 'Cafe Style British Bike'

 

You need:

 

Round Head light $20-$40

 

'Small' signal lights $2.50

 

Small brake light(not squarish) $10

 

Change the seat $25

 

Back mud guard extension(plastic $5) (metal $30)

 

Straigth or low handle bars $15-$25

 

round speedo n rpm meters $15-$30

 

fork covers(black color) $5

 

Fully covered suspensions $40

 

Cute Round mirrors $10

 

All this items can be purchased at shops at Kelantan Lane.

bro... as for the mudguard front and rear. how to tell the ah peks at the shops you want the ones that cover half the wheel kind? is it an aftermarket part or use one from another bike?

i tell u what, buy the plastic thingy, save money but spray both yr front and back mud-guards black. Very CANTEK one, Confirm!

 

Print my bike pic(the black one) as reference to go to the shop. Point the part that u need to the ah peks ah.

Since we are on the topic of RXKs and such, how do you eliminate the vibrations on a RXK going at 60kmh? Very sore on the hands man.

Not much that you can do, unfortunately.

 

Try changing the grips?

dont think it's the grips. Unless you are suggesting the sponge types. But I doubt that will solve the problem at the root.

IM Riding RXK Since 1999 .... My dad gave it to me But i tranform it to more sporty type not vintage ones.... its an FB plate i it serve me well all these years ...

My speedo's not in good working order. On average what's the road speed when the tach reads 5500rpm?

60km/h or so?

 

But my speedo isn't accurate I feel. I can be travelling at "90km/h" on a normal road and have cars whiz by me.

Wonder if it's a thing about the K's meter. I remember I would be doing about 80 when the speedo says 5500rpms, but then that was my LC125

Hi,

 

The IU on my RXK has a cylindrical extension on its side. Does anyone know what's in it? Batteries?

 

I'm guessing so because the bike's battery is only 6V.

 

Also, the IU doesn't work. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

 

I've checked the fuse and wiring - they're both OK.

i also have the same prob... got it checked at vicom.. they did a check and told me my unit spoilt total... nothing to do with batt/fuse..(mayb left it for too long in the rain..till the inside got soaked)...

I Change My Speedo,Ignition,Handle Bar And Head Fairing to the RXZ Catalyser Type .... Mudguard i Change To Panther Mudguard ...Gold Rim Size 18 and Tyre Front And Back 80/80 ... And Intrnal Pipe ... Thats all ..
