You're right coffee, having a manual is very helpful but would be even better if you have all the right tools! I'm always faced with this problem in lacking of tools especially special stuffs like torque wrench and clamps... the manual will be good reference nevertheless

guys~~ think we need to set a date to view the manual b4 buying/printing , and maybe giving [R] a deposit. Is this sunday nite good~~??? a centralised location will be good ~~ say ard AMK, bishan area~?~? and suggestions~?? i suggesting bendemeer area there's a nice muslim makan there just b4 ASP serangoon rd. i dunno the name of the place ~~ if otherwise will be alameen at bkt timah or KTM ? ? ? any opinions~?~?

1k?.. well, it kinda depend on how u look at it.. to others it may be junk, but to u it might jus be different... i have got someone quoting me a very gd price for my rxk but i jus refused to sell, to each its own i guess...

OUTING ON 19/11/06 sunday

TIME 2100

VENUE YASSIN RESTUARANT @ Serangoon RD (B4 ASP)

purpose of meet up is to view the manual b4 purchasing + tok kok + get together

 

a brief explaination on how to go there

 

1. If u are coming from north(ie woodlands or yishun),

take CTE and EXIT BALESTIER(KALLANG) its just after the CTE-> PIE sliproad.

After exiting, turn left(note there is no right turn, only one way road).

Go straight till u reach a traffic lite.

Turn left upon reaching traffic lite.

Go straight( u should pass by the junction of towner road on left and boonkeng road on ur rite)

Go pass the junction/ traffic lite approx 300m lata u will see some kopishop on the left and u will see YASSIN RESTUARANT on ur left.

 

2. If u are coming from south(ie AYE, telok blangah, bkt merah.) ,

Take CTE and EXIT Upp Serangoon( it is together with CTE -> PIE sliproad)

Follow the road till u reach the traffic lite.

Try make ur way to a right turn to bendemeer road( it is a big road with ard 4 lanes wide wif a ERP gantry.)

Go straight all the way(for ard 400-500m) and TURN RIGHT thru a very wide corner leading to St. george road.

At the end of the corner, there is a traffic lite, just opp the traffic lite is YASSIN , keep left and make ur way there to park at pavement.

 

3. If u are coming from the west,

Take PIE , EXIT Upp serangoon and follow the direction as stated in 2.

 

4. if u are coming from east ,

Take PIE and follow directions as stated in 1.

 

IF u are from else where try make ur way to the above mentioned expressways and make ur way there.

 

Pls call if in doubt( DO NOT USE UR PHONE WHILE RIDING~!!!!! ) call b4 moving off or stop in somewhere safe and call me or any of the guys joining this meetup.

Hey guys, I apologize for not being able to make it last week - I was rushing my weekend project and lost track of time... My bike wasn't in good running condition too

 

Anyway I'm sure to take the manual, don't worry!

 

This afternoon and tomorrow I'm going to bring my bike to the workshop again...

 

So am I the only new RX-Kian who hasn't meet up with the rest before?

Ah...Tat bloody fender....i was looking for it too. The most suitable fender will the the Suzuki Dr 200 front fender, try going to LAB. To fix into the RXK require some brackets. The local mech shld be able to help u.

 

Btw, i saw a black/white modded RXS FB plate + P-plate at Al-Ameen, Bt Timah, yesterday at ard midnite. I wonder if the owner is in tis thread. Ciao!!!

apish - I think some scrams fender longer than others and also recently there was a new model of mini scram by kawa... so I wasn't sure which would be more suitable. Now I've got the answer...
