Just go ah gua lane, i go "motorlink" (got big big MOS signage) or Kok Seng, near the end of agl. When ya free? i intending to go in to rewire my bike to 12 volt soon.

there's no need to rewire to 12V.. u just have to change batteries, bulbs (signals n headlights), signal condenser n if need be, ur lighting coil at ur magneto.. u can even do it yourself =) simple n easy.. batt 12v can either buy phantom or rxz batt.bulbs can buy from ahboy or united impex.signal condenser 12v can also get from united impex.all stuffs cheap.. lighting coil no need to change unless it fries.. =) good luck peepz..

potong pipe as in internal mod? that would cost you abt RM80.. but my advice to u is get them to cut square window by the side n empty d pipe.. rather than cut d pipe in 2 n weld back.. window is neater n nicer.. n if u want to do ur rx-k my advice is u either go BM Raajah or this other shop i duno the name.. hehe i only know its d second shop d moment u enter Lor Bapok..

not literally rewire. Just change some electronics to convert to 12v.

 

I do RM200 everything. abt SGD80+ total. 2-3hr job.

 

12 halogen bulb, 12v lighting coil (from RXZ), 12v rectifier, 12v battery (GS Yuasa battery), 12v horn, all the 6v signal bulbs change to 12v, 12v signal relay and mod the lighting to be permanent "on" mode. Cause dunno why the stock rxk switch cannot switch on the headlight, so bypass the switch altogether.

 

basically replace all the 6v items. now my headlight is significantly brighter, signals respond faster. all the lights no longer flicker when idling.

Just wanna share my experience on how i prevent water from going into the fuel tank

 

just bought on thurs, bike in the werkshop on monday coz water seeps into the keyhole.

 

but lesson learnt, the keyhole need to be covered.

 

some forumers suggest put magnet, i come up with anorther idea.

 

I use, shower cap. I noe its ugly n big, u can modify it make it look neat.

 

for me, the shower cap can be divided smaller into 3 piece. dont cut, but use indirect heat to "melt" the plastic together.

 

more like when u buy keropok, then they "seal" the ends using heat. I use candle instead.

 

fit nicely on my fuel cap. no time to take pic though..but i will only use it when it rains..

yeap aLL those eLectricaL parts to be changed.. but to me RM200 aLiL overpriced.. if i'm not mistaken my previous K i paid onLy 120-150.. cause aLL the barang there very cheap Leh..
