Doing yr K at JB?! Only time will tell.

I m still puzzled here.....why change to 12v if 6v is good enuff? Wif the amount spend on converting i can get a new top block or a new piston set in Singapore. Its the enjine we must take care of.

bear.. for me internaL is stiLL singapore do.. so if anything **** up can easy fire.. hehe if externaL stuff Like weLding eLectricaL rewiring i do jb.. cheaper.. the Labour cost in sg is madness..

RM200 u can get new top bLock?? sure not.. even MADE IN INDIA ones cost sgd150.. sumore quaLity jiaLat.vibration Like crazy.

for me do rewiring so my Lighting system more stabLe.coz 6V Light buLbs and parts often bLow up on me.. i've had experience on this probLem from my previous K.. and furthermore the 6V IU unit is screwed up.. it'LL fry after some time due to the extra batt to support it.. so why not spend SGD70 and get rid of aLL these nitty gritty stuff rite?

depends on what you mean by "service" ah bro. if you change engine oil , brake pads , etc then how can you judge the duration of use right ?

i believe good and bad mechanics are everywhere , singapore or malaysia.

main thing is that if you go malaysia , if they have your parts of not, thats the most important.

Hi.

Check your fuel filter. Take the fuel hose off the carb and open the petrol c_o_c_k to see if petrol flows. If there is just a drizzle, remove the fuel filter (at the bottom of the c_o_c_k, in the white plastic cup which can be taken off like a screw) and either clean it with compressed air or replace it. If then still no petrol flow you have to take off and clean the petrol c_o_c_k itself, take it off the tank (2x m6 screw) and blow through it in the "on" position with compressed air, attention - blow from the OUTLET so that all dirt is blown out.

However if the petrol is already flowing now, then please check your carb - likely the floater stuck or the floater valve bad. Not enough petrol reaching the float bowl, i.e. you can drive until the float bowl is empty (~500 meters is about that) and then you'll have to wait a little for the float bowl to fill again and you can start again.

Happens to me sometimes when it is particularly hot outside - the floater will get stuck and i have to tap the outside of the float bowl to loosen it, by now i am able to do that whilst sitting on the bike when i feel it wants to die :) Always happens ~500 meters after leaving the office car park, too.

Kind regards.....

Thanh
