eh all bros, i am thinking of redoing my Yamaha RX11 (110) FROM SCRATCH. Bought the bike out of passion and reminscent of childhood. Haha, i am wondering if there's any recommendations to any reasonable workshop to do restoration? Many thanks! can just drop me a SMS at 8533 0008. Currently i think batt flat, stuck in MSCP any kindhearted souls know how to change batt? help too if not i got to to tow out liao!! i dun mind paying service fee!! but must cheaper than towing la! i stay in sengkang btw.

Hi welcome to the rx club. Normally wat we guys here do would be buy the stuff then go to our mechs and install lor.

RX dont rely on battery to start, Try push start.

hey peeps... any good lobang for rewiring in sg??? or say 6v - 12v changeout!!!

 

6v cannot tahan... want to lane change so dangerous coz sometimes indicators nvr light up... need to rev more than got xtra power!!! furthermore 6v IU koyak oredi so might as well...

wanna just share wif u of wat happen today while riding back.

 

the nite b4 i do my own decarbonizing of pipe...i'm soo proud of it...even my dad nver done it himself b4..

 

today after a long ride...just 3 traffic light from home...suddenly a LOUD engine noise is heard...while riding, i tink...tat one doesnt comes from my bike...i look to the right..saw a Subaru WRX..must be from his exhaust pipe..

 

but after the car pass by....the sound is still heard...untill i turn to my pipe and saw my silencer was halfway out of the pipe....WTH!...

 

luckily it doesnt fall off and run over by other vehicle....den i realise..while fixing the silencer yest nite..i didnt tighten the screw soo much...

 

lucky me...just in fron the the RXK bike shop opp aunty shop..near eminint plaza...ask the uncle to fix the screw...$2 giv him lah....even thou i can do it when back home..but the sound of the pipe was...AWESOME!!!...lolz.

 

now i noe...why the silencer must be install...hehhehz

yea balls i totally agree with you!! the sound is the S.eX!! i went to shop to clean once.. then the mech toook out the silencer and started the engine.. crazy shiats man!! sounded like i owned a 135cc harley!! wwoots!!

U can DIY.

 

Things to buy

1. 12V Battery

2. 12V Head, Tail, Signal, Meter Bulbs

3. FLASHER RELAY ASSEMBLY (RXZ)

4. RECTIFIER ASSEMBLY (RXZ)

 

No addition wire is required.

 

Things to do

1. Change all the bulbs, flasher relay & rectifier

2. Cut with Scissor & pen knife, the battery compartment just big enough for ur new battery.

3. Connect the battery post & secure ur battery with wire/string/cable tie.

 

If u are still not satisfiy. The last items to upgrade is ur lighting coil (RXZ).

 

Send ur bike to mechanic, to change ur lighting coil.

As U need special tool to remove the rotor assembly & a bit of soldering job.

oh..issit u at the keat hong mech shop ytd ,ask for rewire ur rxK..then they quote 180 ??

Yes, ur bulb light will be brighter. But possibility is that, bulb life will be shorter & ur bulb socket will melt !!!!! as RXK/S are using 6V voltage regulator.

I still trying to solve this issue.

u mean after doing all the necessary change... the chances of bulb blowing & socket melting is oso high becoz of the 6v regulator???

 

i pressume this regulator cnot b change...
