You see Bro, I just bought a RXK. However, I am still waiting for my TP Exam this end September. So in the meantime no 2B licence and try to do some DIYs on my bike. That's why I did ask more questions and doing researches online.

 

 

U sure ask a lot of questions? Any incentives given to those answering? Why dun u ask, "i have a ton of qns to be answered, why dun we have a meet-up?"

my compressor rosak alreadi! i now using my friend's one ah. but leceh ah, better to have own one. for sanding i use drill and add sanding pad. hahah

i make my room into a workshop ah, kena f by my parents but as long im happy i dun care. problem doing it in a room the ventilation abit chialak ah. my whole house smell of the paint and laquer for the whole day. portable compressor not strong enof to support the spray gun but can use with the normal airbrush, will take a longer time. i wanna diy everything as much as i can for this bike ah. for spraying frames, how u usually do it ah guys? workshop or take out urself?

Both front and rear tyres just changed Michelin at $180 for both super super new ! Well maintained and polished often . Top block gasket just cleaned ad decarbonized . No wonder lah, cos some ppl get gd lobang oreadi, make bike nice-nice then pai-tau/cabut and claim tat it is their own effort. Not ethical leh. b4 i go ah hee..pour out my fuel...and true enough there is some rust powder...it will settle after some time..so tats explain y when warm up got tat problem..after 5-10 min of riding..no more..coz its all mix in already, not settle..tat also explain y...it happen when low in fuel not when my fuel tank is full..coz the rust powder mix wif more liquid..

 

ask uncle hee on hw to fix..he says best is change the tank...but sayang..the tank i just paint..and also yest i'm rushing to school..he got a few bikes to settle 1st...

 

so i try to remedy my own prob...always top up full and shake the tank b4 starting..the let the rust powder mix wif more fuel...c hw again dis few days...

well, u can try to clear as much rust as possible in the tank & check the tank petcock (on/off/reserve switch) usually the reserved pipe (shorter pipe) inside on the pet **** have a filter on it to keep sludge & stuff out of carb. if not, try like wat sabrove said... inline fuel filter.

i bought 2 filters and a hose for $7

 

The filter comes with a magnet and a mesh to trap the rust. Impressive
