Nice chrome swingarm!!

 

Today, I went to Tune In at yishun industrial to enquire about prices of some parts. For those people who are interested in chrome, this shop sells chrome 'celup' engine casing, 2 sides at $180.

 

Hi Bro, where exactly is this place? Do you have the address? Thanks!:)

Back on the streetz :) GnG charged me $30 for changing spark plug I think. And pasted an ugly sticker on my taillight which left behind this sticky residue -_-

tera, could be a few reasons. maybe u need to tune ur bike to higher rev. off the engine and kick start it a few times before turning the keys and pull the choke

Maybe u SHOULD seek us before going for repairs. i think yr CDI spoilt. Yr bike no 'fire', how to start?

i think you have a similar problem to farid's bike. he changed a number of things, all the coils and stuff , fresh new spark plugs etc. and the problem of not being able to start his bike still persisted..

funny how you mentioned him, cause he was the one who got his block replaced at that shop,with a chrome one.. "paul"

Oh, so Paul replaced the block from that shop. Sorry I still can't really remember all the names.:p Thanks for the info Bro!:)

Dun be crazy la. $30 change spark plug? Can buy 6 plugs for spare.

Guys, my bike is home:) Major overhaul on engine cost $285 + rear wheel bearing change $20. Cant be helped wan la... Old bike. Mechanic got good skills though. Happy the way things turned out. Might visit Joon Seng again one day:) Found out GNG modded my right gantong bolt. Think it broke off and they drilled a hole, threaded it and now use allen key bolt to bolt it in. Maybe I'll restore it in the future. Next up, proper side boxes to put my rain gear and bike cover, so as to prevent theft. $$$:p

I guess they do. They have the top block that is chrome. Not the whole block. :)

haha mine can start but if ride very long if die can't strt. Must wait for engine to cool down then can strt. Lol

 

Mine is the other way man. Esp if its raining my leg can die from kicking.

 

Anyway I still got a lot to learn lah. I just realise that you don't need to trottle when you open choke. That's what the uncle told me...

if you are referring to during a heavy rain then the engine died halfway or cant start. maybe the wire with a rubber casing that cover the spark plug is the cause. the rubber maybe old or harden and thus not water proof already. so the spark plug got a bit wet( due to the rain or the water that was splashed upwards by the front tire). so yup thats something I learnt from my k last time. Good to share here. Okay back to my books.
