Try open throttle and turn the key to off while still maintain open throttle everytime u leave your bike.

 

When wanna start,

1) try kickstart without throttle first, then

2) kickstart & open throttle at the end of kick, then

3) pull choke, kickstart without throttle

4) close choke, maintain open throttle while kickstart

5) last resort, push start at 2nd gear, catch biting point with throttle

6) call tow truck

Thanks great advise. Anyway I can now start the bike after point 3. Heh.

 

Digress again, does LAB have any warranty for small items? My new barend mirror fell off on the road just 5 mins of owning it. What the farkz.

Anyway if you need to resort to point 6), GnG uncle say he can ask people to tow for you at $20 only. Just to share. :)

I don't think they cover that sort of damages bro.. Had a bad experience with bar end mirrors and decided to go for round low mirrors..

haha yep, plus its harder to squeeze in between other vehicles. also i noticed it vibrates quite alot during higher rpms .

sorry its $250= full service + decarb exhaust+ chg of clutch plate+ chg of magnetic coil

$400= overhaul+ decarb exhaust+ chg of clutch plate + chg of magnetic coil.

The situation is that I am buying a Yamaha RX-K 2nd hand. But the thing about this bike is that its engine and the exhaust pipe is spray painted. I am unsure of the base of the paint.

 

So these are the questions I'd like to ask:

1. Is there anyway to remove the paint from the engine and exhaust pipe? How much? Where?

 

2. I plan to chrome/nickel plate the exhaust pipe and engine(is it possible?). How much? Where?

 

3. I want to modify the handlebar. Maybe cut or bend the existing one. How much? Where?

 

4. I want to change/make a new seat for the bike. How much? Where?

 

5. Where to buy those stock Yamaha and RX-K logo plates at the side of the tank and frame? How much?

 

6. Lastly, is it worth to buy this bike and do all the works above, or find a better deal? Bcoz the thing here is that this bike is an 'A' plate, not an 'F' plate.

 

Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

Almost accident last nite and this morning. Driver dash cross junction traffic light after it turned green in my direction about 3secs. My view on right was blocked my lorry carry LPG cannisters. Lorry jam brake, then I dunno y i jam brake also, then I see car fly in front. FFFFF!!!! WLE!

 

This morning got long lorry wana switch lane then light turn red. So he stop diagonal across 2 lanes. Try to drop gear, then brake, then rear end shift slightly, then got loud sqreech, rear end slide abit more then tyres grip back, so continue as normal. Blur man...what happened. Like stuntman. Phew!...

Had quite an experience yesterday, i was from yishun heading back to tampines was going about 100km/h+ riding along tpe overlooking ikea tampines when this huge construction trailer-ed lorry with the led arrows pointing to either the left or the right, lane changed when i was about 1 car length away. The lorry happened to be in lane two which was smack in the middle , i was prepared to overtake it on the left, when it too, decided to just lane change blindly, maybe there was a miscommunication between the construction worker and the driver, luckily i was able to brake in time. I was lucky to have been alert/vigilant, you all know very well how the weather is like when its around 4 in the morning.

1st, you wanna buy the bike because you like the bike or because you like the no plate that why u wanna buy the bike??

2nd how much is the bike??

3rd how many digit does the no plate have ??

4th how old is the bike??

I believe it is 30mm. That is because I bought a pair of clip on handle bars at 32mm and they are still slightly loose.:cheeky::cheeky:

Tis mod can be achieved here n its legal in Singapore i think. U just need to find gd 'lobang'. Very troublesome one tis mod, no 2T pump so must premix n obliviously no pillion lah. The tank macam like RXZ one ah.

Mi lord, you seem to have this 'lobang' ah? Hahaha. The tank is from a honda cbz as stated. It looks bigger so I guess you need to premix less often than a stock tank?
