Hi, anyone knows whether its possible to upgrade RXK's entire electrical system from 6v to 12v ones?

My RXK lights only light up when rev (old bike expected), but dam bad, idle light like never on at all, and if on headlight, signal light nothing even when neutral gear whack throttle (I've tried), and vice versa no headlight then signal light on when rev.

Quite dangerous these few days riding completely no signal, I don't wanna get caught by TP!

6V good enuff bro... i think u just do re-wiring of the whole bike that will cost more than $80/-. My bike running on 6V, good lights n signals and also new IU units. =)

Thanks for the info bro, after since changing battery and cleaning up loose/frayed wires, lights do indeed seem stronger and brighter.

Though when stand still and no rev lights go dim and signal blink dam slow, I think good enough for now.. Maybe next time

really make swee swee then upgrade 12v.

Greetings folks,

This suddenly came across my mind: what's the capacity of the RXK's stock fuel tank?

Thank you in advance.

7 litres inclusive of 1 litre reserve

hi guys, does anyone know what is the fuel consumption of an RXK? i ran about 50km and im already at half tank and i dont think thats normal. does tuning the airscrew help?

depends on ur carb. if everything stock then it would be somewhere 28-30km/litre. If u using rxz or some other racing carb... fuesl cunsumption goes up

Unfortunately can't, so this will prolly be the last leg of it's life.

I got it from a guy who took great care of it, and so have I. It can definitely give a good five years.

If unable to sell, I will most likely lay-up and keep as a vintage memorabilia.

Here are some pics of it,

Hi guys, I'm considering to get a rxk, exterior looks not important. Most importantly, is the engine being reliable, and other functional parts. This will be my 2nd bike, and I'm thinking it to modify into a really classic RX-K scheme with the cafe racer style. But first of all, I'd like to know, prices for an average RXK depending on their COE. Whether is it advisable to get a renewed RXK already till 202X or one that will end 2012-2014. My budget right now is tight, but I'm planning to save up first, get the bike, and slowly work on the modifications as I get to ride the bike often and get to know what it lacks. Hope to hear any advices from you guys! Thanks! :)

Hey guys, I just got a RX-K and wanna ask what 2T is good for this bike? Is it worth it to get fully syn or is semi syn good enough? There are so many 2T brands I don't really know what to choose...

Plus I don't get the whole premix thing. Is it better?
