Yeah might be the valve that gave way. Probably just loose thus leaking only when pressure reaches a certain limit or only occasionally.

 

There are other possibilities in a puncture - sometimes the puncture is so small you can't even see... or gap in the seal between the valve and tube...

Guys, me jus bought a rxk, but need to change mani things!!!

Do u all where to change the seat cover huh??? oso roughly how much to change all these things in JB huh???

think i am on the verge of giving up on my lao k...

 

seems like every full tank i pump give me at least 1 problem. Anyone here know whats the problem when i ride and there is like no power? max speed is 80km/h, then go upslope on e-way speed drop like hell.

 

ps. I just washed by carbs.

Changed your clutch plates already? If haven't change most probably that's the case. Or could it be pour wrong type of oil after changing plates?

i think something wrong with your coil or dynamo (if any)

u should get it checked.

its not cheap tho. just my $0.0002 worth.

hey dude, have u de carbonised ur pipe?.. guess that might be the problem, since u say jus wash ur carb...

hi ahchua5582. i did change my clutch cable and clutch plate in j.b before. well the clutch plates cost me RM 116. that included the clutch cable, engine oil and the changing of the cluth plates. its cheap there. i tried askin a shop here in sigapore and they told me about $80-90. its been bout 10 months now since i changed it. fortunately no problems.

 

oh and bout the brakes, i did it for $45 for both front and rear. i did the changing of brakes in singapore. i think it will be alot cheaper in j.b.

before u change clutch plate, maybe u shld change ur engine oil first, cos for some rxk rider, they dont actually change their engine oil very frequently, and thus its will affect ur clutch performance... clutch cable is ard 15rm.... as for seat, i re wrapped mine for 20rm or 25rm... cant really rem...

u throw the Ks engine away. then get a Z engine. but keep the carb.

this one only 135 cc bike havent 1000cc one.

hi guys sorry mia for quite sometime.. busy working and getting parts for my bike and setting up a small sideline biz..

 

i got alot of cosmetic parts for my rxk already but not yet ready to mount all yet..

 

1) chrome side box- costs around $20

2) shiny purple cloth to wrap my seat - costs $10 from spotlight

3) rattan box to mount behind - costs $3 from sungei street haha. need alot more work on it including re paint, wash, wood stain, lacquer, water-proof it and mounting.

4) chain cover - costs about $13 from LAB

 

items not yet bought

1) headlight

2) signal light

3) speedometer

4) either a ape hanger or wide handle bar

5) lacquer my oil tank

 

many many more !

yes its chrome bro.. its from lim ah boy.. but be warned.. the parts he sells are not that good..

so if u wanna buy means u have to take alot more care and time polishing and stuff.. they rust quite easily..

I wanted to do that actually. Cos I prefer a 6-speed gearbox (I know some is 5 gear also lah) and I like to have my pipe at an angle.

 

The Hamilton Ah Pek said not possible. I think otherwise.

umm, i think Japan model RXZ has 5 gear box. and its definitely possible to mod a k to anything u want.

but in reality, i dont think its possible here, lol.

but it would be really cool tho.
