bro take it slow man.. from the parts u mention.. its going to set u back quite alot of money...

 

for me.. i buy parts by parts first... one fine day den i install all of them...

but its up to u man..

 

headlight -$35

Speedo- $50

signal lights about $25

rear sus- $35

seat-depends..from $30-$80

handle bar -shld be less den $20

front mud guard $20

rear-longer type i dunno, shld be around $30-$35

rims-depends also.

 

guide u no probs man

thats the rough gauge of the money u might be spending for the items u listed..

 

 

but i strongly suggest u upgrade the brakes, and tyres... safety first..

the stock brakes doesnt work well in wet weather..

that shld be the first thing u change

 

if u want royal enfield style.. u cant have chrome for alot of parts.. lolz.. chrome is addictive ! be warned...

its hard to tell u if its a good cos i havent seen the bike.. but $500 is about as low as it can get..

 

jb does not have alot of RXK parts..

but i did my brake system upgrade in JB.. not really recommend.. poor workmanship... the savings is not worth the trouble if u have to go back for a re-visit..

 

do it in singapore.. once bitten twice shy... unless ur looking at kips parts or wave or cubs.. den yes its cheaper..

I don't think LAB offers a very good variety of items of RXK, maybe you can try out Chia Heng? It's just at the main road area, beside the POSB. That shop seemed to have more stuff but they're old and rather vintage.

my friend will be going overseas for about 12 days. he is asking whether if he leaves his rxk unattended for that 12 days. is it ok? what are the possible problems that he will face. and is it ok to leave it for 12 days without starting the engine?

12 days shouldn't be a prob I think? When I was spraying my rxs, I left it there for I think around 2 weeks? The bike started fine after the 2 weeks. Then again maybe diff bikes have diff outcome? Haha ask your friends to keep his fingers crossed!
