short and straight handle bars can be found at lab.. about $15... if required.. can ask the work shop to cut it shorter.. for that retro look..

Thanks gmoh and gab. the front part is completely gone. if i wanna do have to replace EVERTHING on the fork, including the fork (broken). the tank, exhaust, footrest also cannot make it. even the kick starter went missing. only thing good is the rear wheel, engine and gearbox (not even a scratch). and to think that my tyres are new and i just svced my engine and gearbox not long ago!

 

Edit: anyway if u all going for outing can count me out. wen i get a bike den see u ba... enjoy..

Just now i went to see see the bike, not bad, feels small though, and i'm not a big guy haha.

 

if you're not intending on pillioning ppl much, get the one seater, looks ten times more chio

 

and the handlebars that the Cafe Racer (cg125) on sale now, i asked the seller, he said he got the handlebars in JB. no further details though..

I've been looking for the 45degrees-downwards cafe handle bar for some time now but still no avail, sad la haha. I know that LAB has the straight handle bar but it'll be better if it's tilted heh. There's this guy Marco who's rather active in the vintage replica bike forum, his cb350four has that kinda slanted handlebar, i saw it in town once. Beautiful man! His seats are not the cafe single seat though.

 

So far I havent been pillioning cos my friends have their own bikes but you know, gotta reserve for the ladies yaaa HAHA

So yeah still contemplating, whether to change to cafe seat or not. You should take a look at chomster's CG, her baby's seats are abit like cafe type cos its like a hump at the back but its part of the cushion, not a bad idea i think? You can still pillion only thing is that the pillion may not be very comfortable? Haha

 

There's an abandoned bike at the MSCP of B/2A Boon Tiong Rd, I think it's one of those old CD185 or CB165(i can't tell since its really in a bad shape lol)? One of those old skool Honda dope sh*t. 2 exhaust pipes but they're not there anymore ha. Well the oil tank and erm seats are gone as well. But something on the bike still interest me alot, the pair of fork boots and the cafe handle bar! But then taking em would mean theft also la, even though it may be abandoned. There no. plate isnt there anymore. How tragic.... Haha!

I sent my King away liao. Got some things to clear off if anyone interested. Hope to get back some towing $.

 

1) brake disc - not warped but got 'step' (I removed this disc when i bought the bike so it was only used for a few days)

2) 2 x black side covers - without the rxk wording... replaced by an ugly sticker... damn that thief! Good for respray lah.

3) battery - MF type.

4) New carburettor - Original from LAB. Only rode a few times. Good as new.

 

5 bucks each except carb 50 bucks.

 

If no one interested then I'll post at garage sales. Collection at my place... sorry I got no bike to deliver.

bro i suggest u sell off your iu unit if u intend to scrap the bike.notice loads of ppl looking for 1 in the garage sale...hope this help.

Eh bro not railway mall, i'm talking about the tg pagar railway station, KTM yo! Were you really not there? Cos... That K can easily be your K's identical twin, the red racing checkers and the rack at the back. I didn't get to see the colour of the seats clearly though, too dark hahah.
