hi all.need some help here.my fren riding a rzk dat's modded to look vintage/classic is tinking of putting side bags on his bike.like de ones put on harleys n such.any idea where to get them?n roughly how much?

Guys, whats a good workshop at Alexandra Village for RX*?

 

Hopefully when i pass my TP on monday, I'll take it there to change some parts =)

 

And the Auntie shop at Kelantan Lane there can help me fix up parts like headlights? I lazy to install the parts myself these days haha.

So far I havent heard any good feedback about alexandra's workshop, nothing negative, but i heard it's expensive though. If you really want to get your stuff fixed and perhaps serviced and all, bring to Hamilton Rd uncle. He's good la I tell you, fast, efficient and reasonable pricing. You can get the parts else where then head down to Hamilton Rd, no regrets! Haha but of cos these are just my opinions ah..

Oh btw gabriel, you stay around Tlk Blangah area right?

Check with you, the bike shop(together with a couple of shop houses) situated along this Tlk Blangah Rd going towards Harbour Front, is it any good? I'm currently looking for the side handle thingy(commonly found on CG125s), the shop facing main rd Jln Besar doesn't have, I presume only old shops have those parts? The shop at Tlk Blangah looks relatively old.. Hmm..

 

Or perhaps if anyone of you know where to get em, do let me know?

Friendship Motor is good with old bikes like K but they do charge a relatively high price.

 

So if ya lookin at cheap alternatives, suggest ya don't head there.

ojo u remeder u see me at the Jln Besar bike shop be4 . n for the carb i am used rxz n without filter yes give u abit of power only because u need to dont alot to give u good power n dont give u good mileage i think u use stock carb n 4 filter i dont think will make your mileage low so u still go to hitom

if u complain u dun have good mileage already still wanna change to rxz carb.. will be even worst mileage..

 

if u want power = low mileage

 

theres no best of both worlds.... sad to say..

 

i think most rxk/rxs are riding with any filter media.. high fuel consumption might be due to your riding style and maybe your carb is not functioning well.. or other problems... for eg. your brakes are "on" all the time.. etc etc..

hello i had a use rxk fuel tank original recondation spray blue color but due to the petrol spill out and damage the right side of the paintwork but still useable . anyone interested selling cheap .
