i use my 2 cents worth of input to help bro.

 

firstly did the uncle pour in the required 650ml EO/gear oil in?

if not it sure will have that 'heavy' feeling in engine.

 

2nd,engine oil and gear oil will have need some km to have that 'light' feeling of the engine.maybe u ride a lil more and see if there's any diff?

 

oh yeah,what 2t i use $6-$8 anytime i can maintain 100-100km/h on expressway.rxk i always reckon for its bullet proof engine! )

 

but to give extra TLC to our trusty:castrol r2/power racing,esso gold or even putoline racing at LAB for 2t pump are in the 'high end' list bro but considerably cheap $12-$16.

2. square swingarm for rxk.(rxz lookalike)

3. racing block head (made in japan)

4. red tank (original) but d color faded liao..

5. oversized front disc brake x 2.. 1 is aprillia.d other made in thailand..

both alil rusty.bt d thai one better looking as im still using it.

6. bar raisers

7. internal mod pipe

8. boyesen reeds

9. new rxs tail

10. 3-in-1 tail light from rgs bike

11. fork

12. rear suspension MAKIDA brand

hi guys i have a qn,

 

no matter how big signal lights i get, the light always quite dim, during bright day time cant see when i signal.

 

i change new battery new lights everything also like that.

 

do u guys have the same problem?

used to have this prob.

 

firstly what i realise is my riding posture resulting in the water seeping thru the raincoat pants therefore only my crouch area wet.

and importantly one tip i find it uselful is pull the pants high up to my waist or if possible higher.then make sure the rain coat top covering nicely.

weiqiang just go to any shop at the 'Ah Qua' lane. they all can service RXK. if they dont have the parts for your bike, they would go to another shop to look for it or they will just tell you they dont have it.

ic but hard to find the place sia haha. is it near the cause way? i wanna go after i ord in may lol. my bike now starts to become harder to kick start le. must kick alot alot of times. dunno y, maybe due to the rain recently.

 

oh ya anyone faces problem on the exhaust sound being too loud? personal opinion ar. i felt that the sound is abit too loud sia. anyone tried to soften the volume and suceeded?

Good people of the forum,

 

Only yesterday I face this problem. Went to VICOM Bt Batok to accompany my friend. OTW back i have difficulty to move and shift to 3rd gear. It got stuck and my engine died. I start back and move off, then like jerk then move then jerk then i kick up to gear 3 then more jerking then when i stop, put to N the engine died. Lucky I live nearby.

 

Then at nite worst still. Cannot start at all then occasionally got this loud 'bang' from the exhaust. I was taken aback sia. Anyone gt experience this kindda thingy? Wats the prob eh? Going to take it to the nearest bike shop tmr, no choice. Cannot start, cannot move at all.

I saw one rattan shop @ Arab St selling something similar. But nt sure can put as basket for vespa etc. Its near the junction of Busrah St. Maybe can check out that place.

aikau ur basket is for vespa or rxk sia lol. ikea last time have a kind of rattan basket maybe u can take a look at ikea (queensway).

i saw it on a chick's pink vespa.

was smiling to myself all the way from eng neo to steven exit

 

damn sweet!

 

cant wait once it got fix and riding it when sch reopens!

 

anyone in np riding retro/classic rxk?

what i did to my ktm2 when still newbie-newbie

2 years ago when just turned 18!lol

 

make sure ignition is off.PULL the choke,

off the fuel valve and twist the throttle at full throttle

and importantly kick your kickstarter 10-15 times

its okay to on your fuel fer 3 secs?

this will allow the water(petrol will float,water sink-leading to carb first)

after that on ignition,give a good kick.

see hows the result

mine just back to the healthy,crispy engine!

if cant if u have new spark plug.change it,if not.just salvage whatever left

Eh bro u from NP ah. I also from NP. Well WAS lah. Are you from Mass comm or FMS? Coz i saw a RXK parked by the FMS building there. I graduated liao this year, too bad if nt can meet up in school. i Was from HSN, Health Sciences Nursing.

My bike no choice have to send to bike shop, speedway @ bt batok. My friend on a X1 literally push me and my bike all the way to speedway. He use his right leg and push my left pillion footrest. Funny lah. At first uncle changed my spark plug. I just changed my spark plug last month @ Teck Whye. According to the speedway uncle, the teck whye uncle gave me some f***ed up spark plug. So personally I cross-out teck whye shop liao.

 

Then he saw some leakage at the front of my engine. He say tat my my engine block there the got some problem. Say need to re-drill the thread. Well I'm a motorbike noob so I got no idea wat he was saying. Even my friend accompanying me there also got no idea. I'll get more info from him tmr when i collect my bike.

 

Hope he don't 'ketuk' me. he looks friendly though, but looks can be deceiving. Anybody got service @ speedway bt batok before?

 

I have rode that bike for 4 mths since I last bought it. Only like last month I sense something wrong with the bike. Engine making funny sounds. Like got the extra 'metal hitting on metal' sound. Then when I'm stationary, at times the egine was super vibrating even my keys was 'rattling' and so does the side mirror. My fren say maybe the revolution got problem so I tuned it down at the knob on the side. Got the tip from this forum lah, then i try. Ok lah nt bad. Was waiting for pay to service it this month. I think my K cannot take it liao, he gave up mere few days b4 my payday.

 

Will update you guys once i get my K tmr.
