the sai tao, headlight looks nicer... and the old fairing got alot of cracks here and there.

Need help on the above. Im currently riding Wase S and I intend to change to Wave R fairing. But after getting Wave R fairing, including the handlebar and headlight/signal light, I realise that the fairing for the meter cover is different.

 

Wave S meter is oval in shape and Wave R is oval and abit extra come out at ther meter (which is to say if I fit Wase S meter on Wave R fairing, there will be abit of lobang below the fuel gauge). Is there any way to rectify this problem? Or do u guys know is there different type of Wave R meter fairing which is oval in shape?

 

Then I also realise that Wave I meter is also oval in shape. Can Wave I meter fairing be fit together with Wave R head fairing and handle bar?

 

Need help on this and hoped you guys can give me help on this.

guys i oso have a another question wat type of modification can be done on wave?? as in out look of the bike

becos fairing got alot of cracks. its around the same price to mend and respray compared to buying a new set of fairing. so might as well get a new set... still finding some1 who can help me on this cos if not wrong, a few ppl oso change to wave r fairing... hope someone can enlighten me on this...

Why not go jb buy those carbon fibre looks "Sia Tao" it cost ard Rm100 plus for wave S onli..

if i m nt wrong u can use R saitao wif S rear black piece(covers e meter part)..as for e fairin, u will have a problem at e key slot area..cos S has a bigger key hole compared 2 R.. cos i have tried usin S fairin on R b4.. so i noe abt it..haha need 2 cover e big hole...

 

1 more way is 2 change ur handlebar to R.. $15bucks.. solve everything...

erm..

i paid total 60+ only for the saitao (head piece) the 2 parts of the head..

and another piece of red at the btm right beside the brake peddle there..

 

for the whole set ard 100 - 200.. quite cheap i guess.. but i think the fairings are not from his shop.. coz i heard him menton sth like "i got get from my fren" so might be cheaper at another shop nearby.. =)

@ JB pay around RM$260 / SG$113 for a full set of fairing. Price include workmanship.
