Caught by TP at upper east coast

the reason is i beat the red light! sadd!!!

 

i was at 60 to 70 km/hr. when i was about to reach the traffic light the green arrow came out.when i cross the line the last arrow blink.i was about to turn right.and cos of racing footrest,back brake is useless.the floor is very wet as the rain juz finish.so i did not dare to stop and try my luck to cross but i was caught by 2 tp.! sad...i try to say i am sorry all this but he still choose to fine me with 12 point and $200.he copy down my info on a paper and close he box and say wait for the letter.! OMG!!! :cry:

 

 

am i able to appeal? cos if i brake i either at the mid of the traffic or fall.

 

any suggestion?

Why is there a rear brake specced for your bike if it is meant to be useless?

 

Just face up to it and pay the penalty.

You reach the traffic light while its green and cross the line when the last arrow blink. i tink ok what..unless you see it stopped from far away and still carry on crossing it.

 

got about 2 second if im not wrong that the camera will activate and snap a picture of your vehicle if you cross a green to red light.

 

Still can appeal de. go MP give sad story saying that you blah blah blah..they send in letter.then you gotta wait for the reply letter from TP.Good luck bro!

cam is diff ma.still will delay,but tp eye is sharp.he say when i cross his side is alrdy green light.so he say i beat red light.but the floor is wet i cant turn at 70 km/hr in order that i reach the line then the green light came ma.sad.12 point leh.left 0 point. i just want to appeal for the point.the money is ok.point cant buy.

Safe riding require self discipline, Safe not only for yourself but most importantly for others safety. once build up the bad habit, it's hard to change. Traveling in the area where there are traffic light, the speed limit should be around 50km/hr . In the way you are lucky to escape the charges for speeding, and are so lucky to speed and bid the red light and still alive. And are so lucky that no one get hurt. Thanks God for given you a chance.

in the first place, why is your rear brake not working? RACING footrest more important?

Your main argument for plea is that you were going at 60 to 70 as you approaching the junction to make the turn and hence, could not brake because the floor was wet.

 

This argument is invalid because the onus is on you to regulate your speed before junctions where necessary and to cross junctions legally and responsibly.

 

If you hit another motorcyclist who went straight with the green in his favour and hurt him, do you think he would accept that you could not brake to stop before the red light as a reasonable excuse for hurting him?

Use racing footrest rear brake wun work, meh? I've been using racing foot rest for close to 1 1/2 years oready, rear brake still grip. I dun think they will accept ur argument, instead, they would ask why u were going fast in the first place! Accept your punishment and be careful next time.

cos i noe some bike cannot use the rear brake efficiently due to racing footrest..

you will get your 12 point back in a year time if you ride safely, make this year for you to lean safe ridding and you will be fine

 

so what if you have 3 or 5 point, one more pek cek ridding and it's gone so what if you are late, so what if you are early, so what if you are faster, and so what your love one will feel if something happen to you

 

why spend money on something that will endanger your life and others

 

enjoy your ridding not endager it
