I've checked it out online, looks good... quite tempting to switch back to Nokia for this... cos the K850i was kinda not up to my expectations.

Even the smallest spark can start a massive forest fire...

Function almost same as N81 8G but the N82 look better as it's slimmer & direct punch, no sliding in/out.

The Camera lens also got sliding cover. Launch this Saturday but I think Singtel shop will b 1 r 2 weeks later. I like the GPS, can use when driving up Malaysia.

I'm waiting for the launch & die die must try to re-contract my current antique phone, GPS, Wi-fi, Camera, Video, Phone etc all in one.

But got alot to learn on how to use it.

The phone was released for sale last weekend! Have anyone bought it? I went to the mobile phone shops to check out the dummy set.... seems to be almost same size with the N73, but a bit plastic-ky....

Scarab, how to use the GPS ah?

 

Its free service for 3 months meaning the voice assisted right, the GPS still "free" but data transfer is chargable if using GPRS right?

 

The phone is quite executive feel.

Dont be taken in by the dummy set.

Functions are almost whateveer u can find in a multi-media loaded phone.

Symbian s/w still best. Can add whatever crap i like to play with.

Camera is different from N95. Its using infra-red feedback to gain accurate auto-focus. Even in night shots.

Comparable with a sony compact cam in anyways.

 

With this phone. U can almost skip the option of getting a compact phone for daily/random shooting. Now can save up $$ for a DSLR!!! woohooo...

The TV-out is good. Tried on my 29" CRT tv. Solid. normal Resolution is like watching VCD. High Res previews from Apple is like DVD quality.

Batt life usual. If u playing around with the applications. Definitely will be outta juice in a day. If not 3 days with occasional calls and smses

 

Switchin from GSM to DUal mode is special. It doenst need to be powered down like previous one 6630 and N70 which i had.

Comparin prices between m1 and SH upgrade. SH definitely has the edge. Cos i bought 1 from each company. The price i paid for upgrade from M1 cos exactly twice of from SH. #$%^&*....... wtf man

And since Day 1 till now, FULLy satisfied, No regrets.

Yea.. 2 yrs with starhub. No trade at all, Got it at suntec city, During the CNY starhub roadshow, they deduct additional $50 compare to other outlets, and i got additional $200 exclusive voucher off since my fren werkin in starhub, yea.. from there was how i got the lobang, lovely phone.

jus got it few days ago . its good . basically i find it better den N95 8gb cos u can store all ur data on e SD card incase phone hang or wat need format . and also function all same and better xenon flash . only N95 8GB is nicer in the look.

looks are subjective ba. for me i prefer the N82 looks, plus it's candy bar form factor. :thumb:
