Mass Order for BMC air filter

anyone can spearhead Mass Order for BMC Air Filter? Heard its better than K&N .

 

Checked the price at Motoworld selling at $140. Recharger kit is $35.

 

If can do mass order, it will save everyone $$$ .

 

Suggest to mass order the air filter and recharger kit as a package.

Did a check with Motoworld's Kenji. He said have to see the quantity before he can decide. Anyone here got dealings with Motoworld? Its better to get someone familiar to do the mass order.

I guess its compatable. But the oil I'm not so sure. Saw the recharger kit at motoworld with the BMC logo.

This is how you remove your S4 air filter.

 

Tools you need:

 

Size 12 spanner

Allen key

Long nose plier (cos later you need to plug back the overflow pipe. Hand cannot reach)

 

 

1. Remove seat

2. Remove both side panels using a allen key.

3. Use a size 12 spanner and remove the bolt on the tank.

4. Carefully lift up the tank a bit and unplug the 2 overflow pipe under the tank.

5. Carefully lift up tank a bit and unclip the fuel guage wire on the right side of the tank.

6. Put a cloth under the fuel chock to catch excess fuel from the fuel pipes. Then unplug the 2 fuel pipe on the left side of the tank.

7. Lastly hold both front and back of the tank, slide backwards a bit and carry the tank up. Take care when putting tank on the ground. Put a towel or cloth so that the bottom of the tank won't get damaged.

8. Use a phillip screw driver and remove the 3 screws securing the air box cover.

9. Pull out the air filter. (take note: do not wash original filter)

The cheaper way to budget rider's who want a better air flow...just follow what triple x said on

 

8. Use a phillip screw driver and remove the 3 screws securing the air box cover, pull out the air filter cover drill two small hole and put it back.
