Hi guys,

 

As most of you all know i had an accident yday and my crashbar has been damaged.

 

I got it changed today and now I have a spare (scratched) crashbar with me for sale..

Details:

1) Condition of the crashbar is good except for the deep scratches on the left side of it .. those who are not particular about the look can still install it and spraypaint over it..

 

2) has the bracket hole to install spotlights on it.

 

3) bought from koon at $69 1.5 mths ago..

 

4)abit rusty but just superficial one that you can polish away..

 

5) the crashbar is not bent or twisted at all according to koon..

dear phantom riders,

i juz got my lisence and is interested in getting a phantom...i check with shops around and it seems to be more cheaper than private seller....but i also read from this forum tat getting from a private owner is better..wat u guys think???dun mind giving me some comments??

If your cheaper mean less amount, for example $1000 for a year 1998 phantom, that does not mean cheaper. also $2000 for a year 2000 phantom with mileage shown 50,000km (which had been completed one round 100,000km, total of 150,000km) is also not consider cheap. prices of bike depend on age, condition, mileage, etc... etc...

ya i understand tat. wat i mean is tat for example...i asked a shop for a FU TA200 is abt 1900 but this is including of insurance, transfer fee and etc....but for private, which plp is selling for abt 1700-2000 but exclude insurance and transfer fee.... this is wat i mean....so in this case buying from which is better??

Well, than you have to look at the condition, visually check all over, listen to the engine sound, FU is like 5-6 years bike, mileage could easily be around 80k km or been completed one cycle. Shop normally buy in below $1k for this age of phantom. so if buy from shop, let see how well you can bargain with them... Good Luck:)
