Engine wise/servicing:

1st overhaul for 2 months back. 2nd, changed gear box today(26july08). basicly new engine allround. total i spend just on the engine is very close to 1k(with receipts to proof)

tubeless tires changed 3 months back. front is dunlop, rear is metzeler.

DID o-ring chain and both rear and front sprocket changed same time with tires. chain havent tighten since then. still going very strong.

Front brake pad changed 1 month ago.

(all done with receipts to prove to buyer)

 

 

Other Accessory and cosmetic purpose:

 

Top box able to fit in 1 flip up and 1 open face or 2 open face easily.

Givi E21 side box.

fiamm horns installed. (horn cover self sprayed to blue to match bike theme)

hazard light. (wiring gone bonkers, can get it done for cheap)

chrome + rubber strips grips changed to heavy ones from LAB.

chrome clutch and brake lever.

chrome side mirrors.

puig windshield(a few scratches due to wear and tear. windshield is bendable)

new original honda phantom front fender. changed due to a minor accident fall. just scratches but still change)

screws changed to blue(follow colour scheme)

rims stickers pasted on bike frame, sidebox and rims for cosmetic purposes(can be removed, takes alot of time cause its not that easy)

 

remarks:

had a minor accident, a car hit on my right sideside. and the bike fell on the right side. whatever cosmetic stuffs which is suppose to change is changed. will give stock grips, levers and horn.

 

bike is always parked under multistorey carpark at home or sheltered carpark in school. mainly used to and fro for work and school and sometimes going out for outings. nv been to a long ride in msia. wiped dry fully after riding in the rain. chain lube every week or after rain.

 

washed, polished and wax almost every week. i even clean chain with diesel most of the time when i wash. those who have seen my bike can comment on the condition and outlook.

 

cons of the bike:

 

Rear brake pad and disc have to be changed asap($50-$80)

front brake light switch might be spoil. (brake light doesnt light up sometimes when front brake is pressed)

whoever is taking over this bike, pls make sure u check the level of EO regularly, top up when neccesary, it eats up fast. i made this same mistake twice, and had to LL suck it in.

 

 

Reason for Selling: parents dont like what ive spent to my bike. got carrot, thats why. my loss, ur gain.

I took ownership of my Phantom on 29 Dec 2007. Mileage was approx. 61,000km. Used mainly for to/from home/work. I've never dropped the bike while in my use.

 

Previous owner had overhauled the engine Jun 2007.

- Changed chain to DID X-Ring

- Changed front/rear wheel bearings to original Honda NTN bearings

- Changed steering cone bearing

- Changed front/rear sprockets to original Honda sprockets
