Just to share something about the deauville. Been riding it for a year now.

Boon siew did not manage to sell any deauville I think. They have one sitting on a platform in their showroom. But their sales pple say they bring in for demo only.

Hence, Boon siew do not support the deauville (no parts, accessories) the last time I went there.

I had a hard time looking for the Air filter. So far, I only know Mah have.

Anyone bought the air filter from any other shop?

There is no KNN after-market air filter for the deauville yet.

I haven't need to change the tires and brake pads yet. Current mileage is 17000km.

So far i have not replace anything yet, only normal service. riding only 4mths, mileage abt 9500km.Heeeheeee.....

Of course Boon siew can't sell bcos they sell more expensive then other bike shop.heeheehee....

As for parts hmmm...i think looi's motor have, u can try, i think so only hor, as i bought my bike from them.:D

Well..so far had not done anything inside the engine, so unable to tell whether parts for crank shaft, gasket or bearings is readily available or not. I had already travelled 33,000km. As for both the front brake pads, it cost $180 for both ( original ) and the rear cost $90. Air filter is $120 and the Bridgestone tyres BT020 is no more available. The next other option is BT021 which are good for the road too. I used Maxima 10W-40W synthetic engine oil which is a better choice compared to other brands.

Its true not cheap but lasting part and not much problem, only wear and tear which is a norm for every bike. Another factor also that all part r from europe, so Euro or Pound dollar convert to sing dollar will be higher. AHaaa...how i wish if this bike make in japan then the part will be cheaper. Funny thing is that japan don't make this model, only in Europe.

I went for bike servicing at Loois on Wednesday. While riding the bike out of the shop, I realised that the fuel was at off position and put it to on. After riding for about 5 mins, I realised that fuel was flowing out freely from the side of the bike at the traffic junction at Eunos Fly over. The bike engine then died in the middle of the road. Have to push my bike amid the rush hour traffic to the side and nearly got knocked down by a car.....:giddy:

I called Loois and they got a person over. The mechanic solve the problem by putting back the fuel line into the tank outlet. He apologised for his negligence but I told him that this is a serious mistake. They are reputable for servicing racing bikes and I never expect such mistakes to be made....:faint:

I am extremely shock that such a thing can happen which nearly endangered my life. What if the bike caught fire? What if I get knock down by some impatient driver during rush hour in Eunos? Besides an apology, they did nothing else....:(

Shld at least pay for a full tank of petrol or free servicing next time. This is quite a serious mistake, almost as bad as not putting the brake line back properly.

They didn't bother. Most shops nowadays just want to earn...they don't care about customer service...

I dont think there are much accessories for the deauville. You can try ebay to order from UK.
