ERP question.

I just went through ERP gantry yesterday without cashcard in my IU...

 

Saw some motorcyclist filter left to insert cash card i guess.. But i did not.. i saw TP at the gantry so i humji dun dare stop..

 

Question is: is it illegal to stop and insert cash card?

-cuz i observed the signs before erp saying "no waiting" never say "no stopping"

 

2nd question: how long to tio summon?

-i checked the TP website today still nothing

 

Still pplate so abit stupid question

Crap, I just went through the ERP and forgot to put in my cashcard. Anyone knows if it's possible to appeal? What are the chances for first-timer like me? Thanks!

Last week, I got stop and insert my cashcard at the side of the expressway b4 the ERP gantry at ECP near the Rochor exit ... I thought ok liao but a few days later got summon come leh... say i nvr put the cashcard in

there is no rule saying u can stop and insert cash card not. So is either u "heng" or "suay".. If TP were to catch u. no point explaining. to them to stop by the side n put ur cashcard, their thinking is that u have an intention to wait. so afterall must see TP wan give chance not. this is what i feel la.

u can appeal.. write letter in to appeal.. i tried once.. its really not my fault as it would be natural to assume that it can go till minus 10-20 cents. but it didnt occur. but u can always appeal for it..

when you forgot to put in cash card ride slowly using your left hand and try reaching your wallet using your right hand. if you can use both hand is the best. good luck.. i tried this many times never failed me.

Ya that was what i was thinking.. coz i know i quite close to the gantry.. but wth tio then lan lan suck thumb la.. now i always ride with my cashcard inserted . Just scared always forget to take out:cheeky:

i also just kena at the ECP @ 6.07pm long time never pass ECP.

Just pay lah no need to argue the wont listen or buy your explainations.

 

$8 only rather than waste petrol go up and down appeal.

I think the government make it in such a way that it's will be more troublesome for you appeal than to just pay. If not why only got one place for appeal but so many places to pay.. =)

anybody can help to explain this letter? i pass thru this gantry at ecp without cashcard. why do i kena saman till $70? is this fair????? wah lao. a picture of it that im not lying.

 

as u can see, it stated that my offence " DID ENTER THE ERP ZONE WITHOUT AN ERP CARD INSERTED INTO THE IN-VEHICLE UNIT"

Did you pay the fine on time? I passed through a gantry without a cashcard recently too (a few weeks ago) and got an LTA saman of $10. Paid via VPost and the fine was reduced to $8.

 

Maybe you didn't pay the $10 saman and this is the second letter?

i didnt receive their 1st warning letter. wah lao. besides it was like 1 month ago, i barely can remember when did i passed that gantry. haish. another $70 gone just like that.

$70 fine if you don't install IU on your bike.

$10 fine if no sufficient value in cash card or not inserting cash card

 

In your case, should be $10 pay by AXS $2 waived.
