Damn its hard to Run-in the Bike. I've been over taken by everything from Honda Waves, Pick-up trucks with foreign workers behind and even a Cherrie QQ. I've ran the whole SLE, TPE , Puggol Stretch and even went behind the airport strip all the way Changi village. My ODO is only 152 after all that riding.... I'm running an average of 75-80 Km/hr. Please tell me theres a better way to do this.... the bikes have to run-in till 1000/ 1500/ 3000??? Tell me it issn't so..... Any advise anyone?

Kinda pointless to do hard run in now. To perform a proper hard run in. The bike shouldn't be moved much. Best if its still "000000" on the ODO. Tow the bike over then do the hard run in. So now... Lan lan do a normal run in.

Shucks dude, aesthetic damage quite bad uh.. But the way your frame slider manifested into a brush, thats quite cool...

 

In any case Cikgu, glad your alright. Just rest in your Hall la.. Just means No more late night supper raids to Teh Tarik.. Haha..

 

A buddy of mine on a GSXR4 recently buang-ed as well, to the point his bike ended up on the other side of the expressway, but he suffered only cuts and bruises, mainly due to his FF and shoes..

 

Hence, Value your head, get a FF! (But don't buy Shark ah pls)

Anyway Running In is a good time to check and get farmiliar with the bike, eg Cornering, pickup or even handling. Why rush when you can get to know the bike better. Every bike has its own character. Its up to the rider to know its character. Treat it well and it will do the same back to you.

btw.. is there any brother out here riding black colour gsr??? (one with box.. one with tank bra) and stays at hougang st 11??? i saw 2 at the mscp here... maybe i got qn can meet n ask u... thanks a million..

put on dyno n let machine run in for u...

 

anyway, i dun believe running in is going on expressway n juz cruise on 6th gear...

u should be doing a varies of road...

so u use ALL e gears, at different speed...

 

n most ppl here will tell u do running in up till 1000km only...

i did mine up till 5000km...

slowly loh...

wats e hurry...

after that, u got a few good years to enjoy a properly run in bike...

 

juz remb to change ur engine oil n oil filter regularly can liao...

Then we move off safely to Kulai. Makan breakfast.

Talk2 and pictures.

Then off to Ayer Hitam.

Advisable to bring disc locks or chains if want to.

Alarms for added scare.

WAGs are allowed to come along if u guys want to.
