Hi Guys,

 

Mind to share what is the spark plug model (NGK/Denso) for GSR400? Is it same as GSR600?

 

Is GSR equipped with radiator fan? At what temperature it will be running?

I think u could use the NGK CR8. Should be able to get from LAB. 4pc at ard $28-$34. Depends on who u approach and how u bargain.

 

Radiator fan? Most bikes do. Its just that for GSR its hidden nicely. Depends on bikes, some kicks in at 97. Mine kicks in at ard there as well.

anibody using stebel horns on their bikes,wanna know ,ani horns recommended ??? wakakaka ,i'm considering it as a need to install for deaf drivers, just like the car that illegally cut into freakos lane the other nite from simpang bedok,guess wat he got from freakos horns.hahah.u guess it??? f\horn.hehehe

My engine is overheating I think, it reads 90 quite common, but the water which I filled 6 months ago is still there above F mark (appears unused).

 

When the bike was new, it rarely show above 84.

 

I fear does the water in the tank get to the radiator, I pressed the hoses that come from the radiator, it is soft as if it is empty, I may be wrong.

 

Can any one help or advice.

Zubir, ur bike front number plate is at the fork right ?

If it is, change its position.

Its norm bro. The container u talking about is the EXPANSION reservior. Meaning whatever expands in the radiator is expelled out to the expansion reservoir. When it cools down it pulls in a bit. The temp of the GSR is normally around 87 when riding. Bad traffic and start stop would hit 97 and the fans will kick in often. Try riding a 600 and u could see the number of times it hits 97. Hahhahaha....

Care to share what water did you pour into your bike? I dun remember we pour water into any part of our bike???

 

Are you referring to the coolant? Did you really pour water to top up the reservoir? If so... then ....

 

As for the coolant reservoir that you see on the right side of the bike, it should read at the "M" line, as it is just a reservoir for "overflow" coolant ... the actual storage of the coolant is under the fuel tank...

 

Hope your bike is ok... I dunno how to help you.. maybe other more experience GSReans can help you.

No harm by adding water. Standard is 30% coolant 70% water. Best is use distilled water. Also, do not add too much to the reservoir, follow the indicator.

I know man. Its an aphrodesiac man. The exhaust fumes... It make a whole lot of difference. I very much like ESSO. I was surprised after the previous Ayer Hitam trip. With the full tank of ESSO. I covered at least 319 before its almost dried. Compared to SPC which i got abt 305 at best.
