Not say i want to hide behind the screen la. Bike still running in, so 'refraining' from joining up for outings etc. I'm running it soft, slow and proper.

Well anyhow up to 1000 clicks, so should be good to go. More or less.

Anyhow you've got to try out LOTS of helmets to get the ONE. Heh.

Happened that I found the Shark S800 at MotoWorld the best fitting ever. Even better than some Arai's I tried at Chiap Lee.

My advice is to go to those shops which have easily available display models. Chiap Lee, MotoWorld, Regina, Chong Aik, to name a few. 550 can get you a pretty good lid.

hey wanted to ask, cos i cannot make up my mind hor, for riding gloves right, u all buy the shorter type of gloves or the longer one ar? cos i cannot make up my mind, hmm hope u all know what i mean.

There is always the pro's n con's. Gotta compare them both to your liking. My preference is short gloves. Plus synthethic material. Gives me a better feel and grip. I am not referring those FOX motoX gloves with rubber and all but those with tuff knuckle protectors. Well it did worked well when i was dragged the other time. But its not rain resistant.

Those long ones are gives better protection and wraps above the wrist area as well. For me its hard to shove my big hands into them. Plus imagine what u gotta go thru at the Customs. Hotter as well.

again own preference la. Or rather you learn by trial and error. I like full-length, gauntlet type leather. So the cuffs of my jacket are covered. Don't want bees to fly in :S.

Juz now kena poison already. Freak was the worst hit. Hopefully the "anti-venom" kicks in quickly. hahahahha

emailed Kenji already. i think he's analyzing the data collected.

Hey guys, been ghosting in the thread for quite some time and now then only decided to intro myself as a GSR rider. Heh.

Anyway HJC helmets are so-so in my opinion. I think the visor is abit flexy and I don't like the fit, but thats me anyhow. Go try out a few then decide which one suits you best.

are you a girl? you seem very familiar.. hmmm.

Yeah... Anti venom kena 10 doses liao. The itching is overwhelming. Need job first... hahahahahah
what kind of job are we talking about here? the abit abit kind?

i prefer LAB racing. for lacing use only.

The best is kangaroo leather...the price also best. hehehe.

Anyway its better to have protection then to have none. It does soften the blow. It reduces the chance to get serious or life threatening injuries.

ya, i read that, the leather act as our skin, instead of we got our abrasion on our skin, the "kangaroo" or whatever animal it is.... I think Cow hide also another popular leather for our bike protective gear..

Cow hide is popular because it is readily available since so many people eat cows...so its reletively cheap to make. There is Kangaroo leather. It is not made up. MotoGP riders do wear them. They are lighter and tougher than cow hide.

wow..those are damn good ads (+ scooter one). Do you guys actually use leathers while riding?

For me its minimum leather gloves + jeans + boots. Open face or Full face depending on situation.
