hi guys. im going to buy gsr bike soon. and before i buy can u guys tell me advantage and disadvantage about dis bike? the maintaince, fuel consumption, how fast can it go and etc etc. thks. looking forward for ur reply guys. thks.

advantage is this bigger than other 400cc, tyre bigger (class 2 tyre) and size also bigger, thus more stable.. it is less problematics then Super4 Revo.. heard so much problem for that bike in Revo thread.. the look is definitely the best among 400cc found on SG road

but of course the PRO the FC will be lesser abit due to the bigger tyre also..

speed wise, can go up to 200kph if you can take it..

damage for maintenance as per normal class 2 bike (as a guide)..

engine oil around $100

oil filter $15

spark plug $50 to $100

tyres $380 to $450

chain and sprocket $200

ENJOY THE RIDE ON GSR PRICELESS

hi guys. get my bike... is really a damn beast.... if not carefull will end up accident... damn.... the power? unbelievable... ya hand wrist did really got sum pain... but this how a sport bike suppose to be cos i ride b4 even its a small cc sport bike.. back ache? eh not yet.. i feel the more i go and the comfort it will be.. as i dun wish to BBQ! i found out y ppl say R6 is super hot... and i looking a way to make it away and i think it will over come the hot air come to the leg... is juz see wat material i wil use... anyway happy or not i already change my bike. and i feel like i am not welcome here anymore as the post really sound like a tease... those which still wanna gather with cam pm as i dun think i will be posting if like this.:thumb:

wish u all the best in ur future rides. as for me i can only say i love the strengh of the bike is really sumthing u cant imagine from 600cc... i try CBR 08 600cc RR but the strengh is totally diff..

welcome to the 600 cc.... u just have the feeling of 600... i tried R6 before..not much diff from gsr600, unless u talk about power bend...

hi guys. im going to buy gsr bike soon. and before i buy can u guys tell me advantage and disadvantage about dis bike? the maintaince, fuel consumption, how fast can it go and etc etc. thks. looking forward for ur reply guys. thks.

want my sincere and truthful opinion???

if ur able to get a bike from a reliable shop and the mileage fits the date of registration...go ahead and get it...from there u won't look back at all...because u'll be wondering how to play with the bike....

wear and tear is slightly expensive than S4 due the 600cc design but they made with a 400cc engine varient...

anyway go do a side by side comparison and ride it...it's a totally different feeling altogether

one more thing...if ur height is above 1.75m, i'd strongly recommend this GSR...why???because S4 sitting position is lower, and the footpeg position of both bikes are the same height, hence on S4, u'll feel the strain on ur leg if ur going touring...

ooh did i mention that GSR directs the heat from the engine underneath the seat???Super 4's heat comes from left right center bottom....so take ur pick....

dang i love the ride....smooth...gear 3 move off no problem...silent, only kpkb when u whack above 9K rpm...

down side i hate about the bike is the rear sprocket size...farking big...gotta lessen the toothcount, if not i always macham ride DRZ within 3secs clutch in change dear....clutch in change gear....

Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see farther.

Dude... it's forum, dun treat people's comment seriously... we're into a new age of living and forum has been very popular nowadays where people gathers to talk. When we go online, we need to have a mentality to accept what people says and filter those negative or offensive comments... remember we come from all walks of life, some people advise in a good manner, some in a more crude matter... we must also try learn to understand the negative comments sometimes, maybe the person who try to advise you is not in the good mood... nevertheless, most of us here are really friendly when you meet up with them.

Well... changing bikes does not mean changing new friends(you still will be able to make newer friends with your new class of bike)... but friends you made here will never change... so you're always welcome in here, but on topic wise, we will not be able to discuss on your new bike... but for gathering, you're most welcome to join, becos you're our friend and also a ex-GSRean!

So dude... tonight it's on. See you at Petronas 9.00pm.

somebody got 1300cc yammie with windshield somemore you know.. all the 600cc sportbikes can guai guai stay behind him.

welcome to the 600 cc.... u just have the feeling of 600... i tried R6 before..not much diff from gsr600, unless u talk about power bend...
of the many class 2 bikes i've tried before, the v-twins leave me with the biggest smile esp the super duke and the MT-01! power delivery is phenomenal man! inline-4s don't have much use for me unless on the track lar. the power band is just so high up..

they lead ok mah...good for us actually...they break up the wind resistance....macham ducks flying....lead one always the siong one...cuz of the wind resistance...then those further from lead duck lagi relek....flap the wings and relac only....
when i saw ducks i thought you meant the ducks you see when going back from second link at 5am. f*cking smelly man.

?? dukes and Mt-01 are class 2 beb...cannot compare with class 2A...

V-twin is actually best for track purposes... best delivering a pick up during corners....coz V-twin pick up is faster than inlines..

lol i was actually talking about class 2 bikes lar. as in you don't really get to maximise the full potential on inline-4s in Singapore.. there're v-twins on track, then there's the 09R1! best of both worlds.

That is what happened to my friend's kawa Kipps when coming back from Thailand... he blasted up to 160km/h and his piston got jammed right before Melaka ...

Actually 2 stroker should be ok for touring as long as you know how to not "Torture" ur bike to the extreme... Only problem is that the fuel tank is small and got to bring 2T along.

For touring... you need to start a little by a little... do not jump straight to long journey... get yourself experience the fatigue of traveling >1-2hrs ... slowly you will get accustom to that.

Another important aspect now is to get yourself protection gears. Both for you and your bike.

For you:

Riding jacket with armour padding

Riding pants

Riding boots

Riding Gloves

For your bike:

Sliders(frontwheel, frame, rearwheel and swingarm)

If you're in experience in touring... best is that you tag along with experienced groups... go for trips like Melaka should be good for starters...

Welcome bro! I am also into touring... so hope to bump into you while touring.

hmm just saw a video clip on youtube, gsr can hit 200 ar. then hor wan to ask, singapore gsr got power card de ma? or also can hit 200 de. anyone ever try?

Our bro EJ has ever hit beyond 200km/h ... hence I doubt there is a power cut. I myself has clocked top speed of 189km/h ... have not really push it to the limit yet because my balls shrank from fishball size to sago size... hahaha

For people who asked for top speed... meaning they are speed demon.. so just remember to ride safe bro... value your life and ride to live another day!

A rev limiter is a device fitted to an internal combustion engine to restrict its maximum rotational speed. This is usually carried out to prevent damage to the engine, however sometimes these devices are fitted to prevent an engine reaching the point at which it develops maximum power.

There are no Suzuki GSR made in SIngapore one...only in Japan or Europe. Power Card can put, even can slot in Greeting Card or Postcard. Enough space one.

Please get the facts or terms right. This is because maybe misinformed if used the wrong terms. There is no such thing called power cut. If the power is cut at 200km/h or even 180km/h, won't it be dangerous? These days got GOOGLE...please GOOGLE before asking. Coz most of these have been answered before.

Its a 400cc only Limited by the rider. If wanna go faster, get a Class 2 bike. And please, do these stupid stunts in a track or something, not endangering other people lives.
