Yo bro... got doubts on exiting meh? I thought going back was very smooth. Maybe I do not have eyes at the back... care to share which part of the journey back was confused? I thought flareon and Realdean did a good job in blocking all the possible wrong exits already.

Oh yeah... coming back I did not brief... my mistake, but I did told Flareon in helping to block those unwanted exits which he did.

Anyway... I still owe you a burger... or Bar Girl ... whichever you want... haha... Next trip to muar... I treat you otah ok.

Do note, removing the catalyzer will increase the CO emission. Inspection or if caught by LTA will fail. Do it at your own risk.

Even motoworld advice to use the original midpipe with whatever street legal end cans first, and after pass inspection, you can change to whatever you wan. BUT every year need to put back original for inspection.

If not wrong the 1st 3yr rule for new bike does not apply, if you change to street legal exhausts. Its compulsary to go inspection every year. Do correct me if wrong.

Read up at http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onemotoring/en/lta_information_guidelines/modifications_and_vehoffences/modification_guide/modification_allowed_lta.html#MainPar_0006

"The exhaust system, which consists of the exhaust manifold, catalytic converter and muffler, is used as part of a vehicle's exhaust emission control system to ensure that the exhaust emission meets our environmental requirements. Any modification to the exhaust system would therefore require LTA's approval. The following should be submitted to LTA for evaluation:

a) Certification from the product manufacturer stating that the proposed aftermarket exhaust system is suitable for the make and model of the vehicle.

b) Certifications or test reports from LTA/NEA recognised test laboratories to show that the aftermarket exhaust system when fitted to the vehicle on a per make and model basis complied with prevailing exhaust emission standards.

Note: Removing catalytic converters and mufflers are not allowed as it will adversely affect the exhaust emission characteristics of the vehicle.

Vehicle owners found modifying or tampering with the exhaust system may face a Court fine of up to $1,000 or 3 months' imprisonment upon conviction in Court."

Can I beg to differ?....

:p

In reality, LTA more concerned about noise emission.

Just watch out for that and you'll be fine.

Of course, if your bike is spewing out smoke like a coal power plant, then something is wrong la.

ya they do a good job. but i didnt say bout that... yesterday when going back... porridge change to 1st lane to block traffic which i think if that guy lost patience sure he hit him already... = =" no offence to porridge k.. is good for u to slow the car and let the front to overtake the lorry... but do think of ur safety k. i am thinking letting that group of car pass 1st then i change lane to slow the vechicle behind. but u juz sudden change lane and ride less then 100kmh... pls remember that is msia highway. cars dun really travel at that speed... and regard the exit if there is an exit we not exiting pls ensure u on 2nd outer lane but not the 1st lane... as there is many car who like overtake and then make sudden exit... due to convoy we travel at lower speed mean there is a chance they will collide with then convoy if we too near the exit then change lane to go forward... next trip i will coordinate with u cyrix.. and thanks to all exp riders.. :thumb: u all did a good job and ensure our fellow riders make a safe journey back to SG:angel:

ya sorry bout the speed off... cos i need to work today... so have to rush back home. and there is a sad story to tell. last nite when i almost reach home exit. there is an accident which a motorist dunno how he fall into the side drain with his bikes... hope he is ok and survive..:(

this also applys to all riders.......

NEVER NEVER NEVER DO THE mentioned above !!!

there might be a speeding car or a speeding bike from behind. what if they are unable to stop/slow down in time, they either hit you or avoid hitting u and hit other riders who were on the other lane.....

If travelling at 160km/h for 1 min = 2.6KM already.....cannot see anymore hehehhe.

Anyway if separated, do tell the 'leader' and he will slow down to let others catch up. This is y walkies are important. At least will keep you entertain during the joirney + can inform of dangers ahead.

hey razi, what balancers are you using? Is it the Equipment Extreme BarSlidz? Shopping around for heavier balancers......

Nope. Must understand the theory first. Vibrations caused by engine. The problem with vibrations is that they vibrates at different frequencies. Heavy balancers may not help to dampen the vibrations at other frequencies. The term is resonance.

So far there are no bar ends that can accomodate to the different resonance of the vibrations. Just some facts la heheheh.

I am using this Effex Handlebarweights
