Hi,

i also newbie but my gsr with me coming 1mth liaoz. Also fbb9xxxg.
So far no complaints. Fuel tank should be 16L. I usually pump btw 12-13l.
1litre estimate can go btw 25-30km depends how u ride. i dun revv too much.
i usually change gear before 5k rpm unless got need for speed... kekeke...
Reserve i est should be abt 3-4litres. Est from the blinking Fuel indicator.
I guess from blinking last gap low fuel indicator at least another 50km safely.

hey your fuel consumption is good. or is it just me? mine's closer to 19 - 21 km per litre..

A GSR 400 FC is between 20 km/l - 25 km/l. Same as S4.

It is documented on the user manual and website that can achieve 36 km/l if you travel at a constant speed of 60km/h at gear 6.

Getting better fuel consumption can be due to change of sprockets, high speedo error, etc. This is because the speedo is taken from the engine. Changing to a bigger/smaller sprocket will increase/decrease the error.

A simple example that you can do is to compare between bikes. Get from 1 destination to another. Compare the odometer (how long the distance from the start point to the end point). It will not be the same. One will have a much higher reading then the other. Unless the speedo errors across the bikes are the same.

One simple test is to use a GPS and compare the result with the bikes speedo and odo. I will gladly confirm that it will not tally. Smaller (Stock) CC bikes tends to have more speedo error then bigger (Stock) cc bikes.

The Bottom Line - Less wrist action on throttle, more milage you will get.

Good Noon, yesterday i discover last month milleage i can reach 339.2km after the second blink so divide that figure by 16litres = 21.2KM/L
i normally use SYN5000 Mobil + add in a little bit of OWS Fuel treatment...

And It Still Going Good Even Better With PC3...

very good! mean 16liter can go more then 18liter... so wat is the avg speed?

Its quite normal to me leh...I always clock around that region of 20-23.....good day (no speeding) can get 23...only 1 time i hit 24...that was when running in hehehhe.

1 time hit 17....my mistake "overtune" my Air-Fuel hahaha...but pick up was smooth as hell.

My Avg speed around 90km - 120km every morning SLE , CTE , TPE - exit Airport Rd

eh bro...i tink my air-fuel ratio is out of tune la...issit easy to do it ourself? if easy then i try myself...if not then i send UM

Cannot tune A-F without a special "device" hehehhe. The instruction given by ECU so nothing much can be done. Can try knocking on the ECU hehehhe.

If you wan a one off tune, can try Teka Mapping (no need to install anything), can do this at Bike Lab. Around $60-$80, I think.

Others will be "Piggy"-back (ops.....swine thing....maybe horse back....ops RA ...... broken back? hahaha) method like PCIII already.

What a coincidence. There are 2 GSR bike park at carpark T38, one red, my neighbour. He only fix topbox, nice chaps. Mine silver w/Puig shield. May be u could be kind enuf to let me see your boxes?? SMS me la, or gv me your no.
My friend recommd. me SW Motech pannier too. It could fit any boxes....he said.

So please dun look down on bikers.....in the end, they are still bikers.

Yeah man. Bikers are just ppl who are passionate abt riding thats all. Not that they are cheapo, poor or downright jialat. All hands agree with u. NOw that i am not a biker, can i start to discriminate haha.

My Bicycle only cost 200 dollars max. Motorcycle tires also not enough to change haha
