Hey Pal,

For this kind cases U Should try to Force it out by using a long nose piller, open it anti-clock wise directions by place the tip at the edge of the bolt, suspect that the inner parts of the bolt is rusted already and it's stuck in between the threads, oil it a lil' spary some WD40 or what not, Try Firmly twisting method, that would jiggle the bolt a lil' bit, then Work ur way around it dude...

Oh Yeah For parts u can approach KS motorcycle (along Jln Besar) opposite Regina ....

Good Luck, & please have adult Supervision while Handling with tools....

The suzuki doctor -> @ Equipment Extreme

Guys share w u a nice shop I noe of for our suzuki bike...

I got my FBB plate GSR in mid may and the day I got it I found it died on traffic light a few times. Went to loois had a check they claimed its fuel sensor dirty then they cleaned it. I asked them about the flutuation of my idling speed they said it is normal cos my idling still ard 1.8... so I just tell them I wil monitor it. So far so good until last sat.

Rode to Malaysia and after NSHW reached the town my bike temp 96C++ and the bike died on traffic light a few times. My friend told me that my idling speed too low need adjustment. I also found my idling speed unstable up and down jerky ard 1.4-1.6...

Last night went to Equipment Extreme to have a check. At first the boss Elson suspected that my air filter dirty so we changed it. Then he took out a vacuum meter n analyse the idling pattern and slowly n patiently he checked all wiring and straight away pin the problem to the foul spark plug before he even removed the plug... and it is so true that the problem was due to spark plug misfiring. Turn out that the previous owner using the cheapo / recon plug :sian:

So, problem solved, with a simple solution though its time consuming... it is very troublesome to take down all those tank cover for our gsr...

Nowadays it is not easy to find a shop to really help u get down to the details of the problem n solve for u... alot of people wil just ask u change this n that or just tell u no problem at all this is the rider issue not with the bike etc... so... kudos to this shop...

This shop is located at Depot Lane (tel : 63771784) and u can go down to have a look urself... open everyday timing from afternoon til late night depends on biz... two man ops...

Yesh Bro, We D.I.Y So Far no Problemo....hahaha

Well no all shop are very well equip with proper training & skills that some people may have & learnt, it depends tho on all on the well being of the workshop & the ability of the technician, Some maybe good in this bla...bla...bla...some may be good in that bla..bla..bla some even can change tyres with their eyes close...so mainly not all workshop are that bad, we have to check what are thier specialty, what are they good at? some even dare to proclaim they can do all, but when the job load is stack up, then all will be short-cut mode...:dot:There You Go...

For Us We practise diagnostics on cars may come up to about 3 days to a week just to discover the actual problem that can caused such things engine stall, knocking noise, engine vibrations abnormally etc...

just my 2 cents...

nolar cos I saw my fren log card is just GSR 400 but mine is GSR 400 M and somemore my insurance cert they also purposely canceled away the word GSR 400 and counter signed it as GSR 400 M so I am curious of it...

M means many... I think all the GSR comes with the 'M' in their Vehicle log info....hahha. Unless the ABS got A behind then can differentiate the difference. Can someone confirm this?

Made in Malaysia lah... RXZ also got Japan and Malaysia version... Khehehehe

Lol! I don't think M will stand for country of origin, Malaysia! Kinda curious as to what it stand for but I know it definitely does not mean ABS cause there is an M on mine which not ABS.

Perhaps it is to indicate year? or perhaps the guys/gals at LTA made an error of not putting an M on Ninjapura's friend's bike. :D

Right, any outing anytime soon?

hi gsr bros, need your input on something.

i've been riding the bike for 2 months now, so far getting the hang of it pretty well.

when the bike is started up from cold, and then moving a short distance before coming to a complete stop, i notice that my first gear + biting point move off is extremely delayed. like, the bike moves very very slowly, and then suddenly lurch forward very quickly with a sudden jump in the acceleration. happens only when the bike is not "warmed up" yet.

just want to check if this is normal bike behaviour? still inexperienced in alot of things related to the gsr400, hope to learn more from all of you. :)

I Would Suggest you try Warming up your bike first at a certain temp lets say around 55'c ( that's mine regular practice) before moving off, Expriment on this between cold Moving off & hot Moving off then you can feel the driff, do this twice a Day During the Morning & Evening when it's time to head home, but in between afternoon's no need to unless the bikes is parked more than 6 hours then it's recommanded to..

i can assume is the cold start idler settings, when it's cold sstarted it's will jump to 1.5K++ RRM then sets down 1.1 - 1.2K RPM, basiclly If in between Rev's you Move the bike without it's proper warming up settings & collecting data during it's waking up sequence, it tends shift change causing it to react in that matter...

Take this Example: I repeat EXAMPLE.....o_Oo_Oo_O

Human Program - On a Regular Basis -

= Wake up --> brush teeth --> bath --> eat breakfast --> Work->

Abnormal Human Program - Tends to react Abnormally not on a regular basis -

= Wake up --> Change Cloths --> Work-->

Bike program - On a Regular Basis -

= ON --> Read ECU --> Collect Data --> Adjust AIR / FUEL Mixture --> WORK->

ON - Key inserted turn ON

Read ECU - Batt voltage OK --> Key inserted Code correct OK--> Fuel Pump ON -OK--> Engine started OK-->

Collect Data - Vacum Air in OK--> Fuel Pump In OK--> Mixture in Right portion in current Tempreture OK-->

Adjust AIR / FUEL Mixture - Adjust REV OK--> OIL Temp OK--> OIL Level Ok--> ETC.....

Basiclly Once all Sensors on bike Reads all in order, Bike is Ready to WORK...

Well You'll get What i'm Writing About...
