Didn't know about meguiars before. I took some of the plastic polish from work to polish my headlights and mirrors without knowing they were actually meguiars not meant for the consumer market..

But they're brilliant.. Especially on the headlight casing..

rien d'autre que le max.

i'm a meguiars fan, picked up all the stuff from carrefour suntec. should be able to find it at autobacs too. have the nxt wash. the gen2 tech wax and the metal polish. the metal polish was neat stuff, smelt fruity too! but i gave up after awhile, kept smashing my fat fingers into the other pipes while polishing.

Yeah, thinking of getting the wax and polish but...the cloth alone cost over $25 at NTUC Fairprice Xtra at Jurong Point!! Itching to get it but my pocket was screaming "GET IT AND I'LL TEAR!!"

So...too bad. No chance to try. Perhaps, a sample from Orleng? :D

Oh, I might try the metal polish soon since my Turtle Polish is almost out!

Hmm, the polish is quite good. After polishing, there's a thin layer of grease that you can feel, might I guess that it serves as protection from further molestation?

Anyway, I haven't left the bike that long without polishing, maybe bout 2 weeks tops? The condition of the pipes doesn't seems to change for the worse after I wipe off the muck and dirt from riding, those came off quite easily.

Get meguiars bro! Works like a charm. I got the Meguiars NXT Generation® All Metal Polish from NTUC Fairprice Xtra at Jurong Point last week. Currently having a promotion of 20% off. Paid bout $12++ for one bottle. Normal price about W$17. Expensive, yes, but it works babeh! was surprised at its almost effortless ease to make my exhaust headers shine.

But saying its good wont mean anything if i dun show any proof. They say pictures say a thousand words, so attached are some before and after pics!

My bike is 2nd hand and previous owner didnt put effort to polish his headers, so after looking at Lexanez siggy, i was inspired. Spend about 30 mins polishing my headers to a fine glossy shine.

Watch out Lexanez, i'm trying to outshine you:cool:

Lately, the idling speed of my GSR400 becomes very inconsistent, rpm needle fluctuating when bike is not moving. Tried increasing the engine idling speed but it doesnt help. Anyone knws what could be the cause of this?

hi Mingkie,

I had the problem of idling speed flutuating b4, it was due to the faulty spark plug, so just get it changed first n see how...

Experienced this recently and found out that i had a foul plug plus the synchronisation of my throttle bodies were way way off...re-sync them and change ur plugs...it helps in my case...
