Install Scottoiler V-system. Lubricating/ Cleaning the chains will be a thing of the past. Cost bout $200 i think. My ride was 2nd hand and it came installed with it so not sure of pricing. Works wonders. Never will i have the hassle of cleaning my chain again. :thumb:

Alternatively, can check out the local based 'Ezzyoiler'. got CMO thread on it.

Link :http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/298400-lt-CMO-gt-Ezzyoiler...the-chain-oiler

Cost $40.

Same function as Scottoiler, but got a valve to open/close so the oil wont drip when u park ur bike and the engine is not running.

I read about the ezzyoiler, seems like it is a good product, any one here has it installed? how is it?

My friend riding a S4 Spec III uses this. He says its exactly like scottoiler. Only difference is u need to turn the valve on before you start riding and switch it off after u park your bike.

Failure to do so will result in a pool of oil under your chain. But for the price ($40), it does its purpose quite well.

the last time i went to looi's there are abt 3 bikes. Not sure 400/600 as i never ask. that is about 2 or 3 weeks ago so not sure about now.

any chain lub is good chain lub. it's just a matter of how regular we lub the chain. Me, being lazy, fixed scottoiler so that i no need to worry abt lubing it.. hehe. i do have to clean the rims a bit more often though, due to oil flinging off from moving chain.

i went there last week they have 3 all 400

hi good morning ..just happen to see this discussion about ezzyoilers..

just a note..the ezzy oiler need not be turned off..and it will not leave a pool of oil..

this is how it works...the amount of lube to use is decided by you..say u need to 2 ml..

so u dose 2 ml..the time to finish the 2 ml lube will off course depends on the flow rate,

say 2 drops/minute...it will take about 15 minutes .

so if your ride is longer than 15 minutes..the oiler has already discharge all the 2 ml so no oil to drip

after u reach your destination..

on the other hand when u reach your destination before 15 minutes..there will be some oil left to drip..not much..

the target is to set a suitable drip rate..and u dose the qty accordingly to the riding time so that

you always have the amount of oil dose finish dripping before reaching destination..

as to your friends case..he may be over dosing it..please advise him or ask him to contact me if that is bothering him.

take note the lube in the reservoir will remain in it until it is dosed..so u will never have the whole reservoir qty discharged on to the floor when u forget to turn off..

thank you..for allowing me to clarify this problem..

have a nice day and a happy holiday..

i love my ezzyoiler

experience the miracle...

where chain cleaning is history...

17k is for the new 09 model. The 09 model has more bhp, different colour combo & it has 16k rpm. I am not sure if you get the non-abs version could be cheaper by a bit.

Err... i google Koso mirror, and i don't think is Koso. let me go back and capture the mirrors, then post them, see if you know about that, thanks ya!

Here are my mirrors, don't know what brand is it, installed by previous owner.

IMG_0299.jpgIMG_0296.jpgIMG_0297.jpgIMG_0295.jpg

Any idea what brand is that, and how to minimize the vibration?

One more thing, there is a fixture attached to the handler bars, is it a balancer? what is the function?
